Bought this computer and within a week, running slow. It takes forever to boot up and I have not downloaded anything on it. Just use it to take an online class.

This was a terrible at calm. It was incredibly slow almost unusable. I gave it to Stars just because it actually powered on and worked, but using it was terrible. It was sluggish and slow and I felt like I was using a 10 year old machine with current software. I returned it the next Working Day and got a much better laptop

Originally bought this to replace an old Toshiba laptop that is about 4 years old. The first one we bought turned on and loaded and never did anything else. Couldn't even turn it off. So we exchanged it for the same thing thinking it must be a lemon. Got the second one home and loaded it up, we didn't have the same issues as the first but it was so slow! We thought it might be our wifi at first so we set up new and old side by side and tried to go to the same websites and sure enough the old Toshiba went way faster than the new HP. So we returned the second one. Super disappointing as we did a lot of research an thought this would be a great computer for what we needed it for.

It was a great model awesome power but the body was made of plastic I needed something more durable but the specs were great for a pc

For ~$450, pretty good laptop. Nice screen resolution. Processor is a little slow. Laptop doesn't support faster speeds cable ISPs.

bought it on sale and I expected it to be faster with the specs, but it is just ok. Not much faster than my much older p3.

Had the computer for little over one month and used only a few times a week, then the hard drive failed. My last hp I had for 2 years and used every day lasted at least 2 years before the drive died. Over two hours at best buy before they finally decided to exchange the computer for a better model with solid state drive.

I am an Apple person through and through, but I had to purchase a Windows-based laptop in order to be able to use a specific machine for work. I selected this one after a lot of research and thought it had some great features for a good price. However, from the very first time I started it up (after the usual hour-long Windows setup), it was frustratingly slow. I know I am used to Apple products and the superior speed of everything they do, but this was just ridiculous for a brand-new computer. I actually thought at several different points that the computer was frozen! But no. Just slow. Worse still, when I went to setup the machine I use for work, it would not even begin the installation process because it said the computer’s processor was too slow and not capable of running the device. I ended up returning this and am still searching for one that will fit my needs. I rarely ever give anything one star, but to buy a product that touts speed and a powerful processor as selling points, only to quickly find out that it has neither of those things, I feel like this product deserves only one star.

I am so sorry I bought this laptop....I HATE the consant , constant updates....no matter when I use it, I have to wait, because the updates are happening. The other horrible issue is the battery. If I get 2 hours from it, I am lucky... I think this is just Wrong...would never tell anyone to buya HP.

Compared to Mac laptops, every other laptop is slower and frustrating to deal with.

Basic laptop, a little slow and quirky at times, but you get what you pay for.

The laptop is a great entree laptop it slows down sometimes but overall very useful for everyday use

It’s a very difficult computer. I expected it to be simple. Honestly feel like HP is not for me.

The viewing angles for the screen are awful. The laptop itself performs decently

I'm very surprised that after just a couple months of use my screen is giving problem. Every time I move my lid there are two circles as if someone is touching the screen and this most times cause the laptop to make selections I don't want. If there is a fix for this can someone please share because my afraid to touch the screen.

The price is cheap and the performance is limited and goes down very fast...
