only comment is that the laptop is slow. I see that's common with this laptop.

Bought this for work using it with a second monitor attached works great so far

Quick connections and has a CD/DVR which is difficult to find on laptops now.

Great computer to use for my son's online school since I'm his learning coach.

The problem of dimming was resolved by my contacting HP on line and getting someone who took over operation of my computer. Even with his expertise it took a considerable amount of time for him to correct. Shortly after that the laptop took about 5-10 minutes to start up. I brought it back to Best Bye and explained the problem. They fixed it relatively quickly and when I asked if that was going to happen again, was told no; that it should be fine. Two days later almost the same thing happened expect that a big square box appeared on the screen and then it took about 5-10 minutes to log on. Went back to Best Bye and repeated my narrative. Once again they fixed it within a relatively short time and so far it has been working well. I should point out that all this occurred within about 4-6 weeks of my purchasing the laptop. "A" for the Geek squad; "F" for H:P.

This is really a great computer for an experienced person. Able to do a lot.

Sales personnel were great as usual. Recommended an open box item. Set it up in less than 10 minutes and it’s been running perfect.

This laptop is lightning fast. I expected it to be sluggish due to the low price, but it exceeded my expectations. I am working on my thesis and wanted it only for writing. However I am doing everything on it. I keep it plugged in so I can't say much about battery life. I love windows 10 with it's amazing features and I purchased Office 2016 for 149.00 and I am good to go. Touch pad is large, keyboard is easy to type on. A great laptop at a great price!

It's so worth the price. It's easy to carry and light weight .

The best laptop is the one that meets your computing needs. If, like most people, you use a computer primarily for light duty tasks -- reading and writing email, posting on Facebook, streaming movies and music, playing casual games, writing a document in Microsoft Word, etc. -- a mainstream windows laptop costing $500 or less will almost certainly be just fine. Moving up in price, you can find increasingly powerful laptops priced between $500 and $1,000. Many of these, including the MacBook Air, are ultraportables, designed to deliver more than good enough performance in a svelte, lightweight form factor. Others are optimized to deliver the most performance bang for the buck, but in a heftier form factor that fully earns the "desktop replacement" moniker.

It was an open box but was like brand new! Bought two of them for employees and they have worked flawlessly the last 3 months.

Basic lap top for general use, not a touch screen. Easy to setup and use.

I was quite skeptical about buying this computer but it was one of the best decisions that I've made during this year. The first time I turned the computer on it was slow starting up, but after using it for about a month now it really is great for quick day to day activities and scheduling. I constantly go back in fourth through different applications so I'm surprised that the computer can actually keep up with me. I use it at least 5-10 hours a day and I never feel bothered or uncomfortable with any heat issues. It also works great to play games on from time to time as well.

I got this laptop for the sole purpose of schooling but it's also become my basic gaming laptop on the weekends, good sold buy.

I love it. It does more than I need but that's ok. I need to learn more about the set up which is different from what I know.

I was in desperate need of a new computer so my kids could do homework and this one fit the bill with tons of memory and ram.

Got this for the wife as she mainly surfs and facebook. She has had no issues with the laptop just Windows and Itunes can be frustrating to her. The unit is very solid and even with the large screen the weight is lighter than her last 15" HP.

I am pleased with my purchase of the HP computer and my other purchase.
