Some problems with the details of initial purchase: 1) receipt was not properly itemized, although total price was right ) did not receive clear advice on how to transferring my Windows 7 favorites to the Edge Browser. Sales personnel advised to use Chrome instead of Edge - figured out myself how to easily transfer my Windows 7 favorites to the HP computer. 3) installation of Webroot not properly clarified but was corrected my subsequent Geek squad visit.

I bought this laptop for my girlfriend after her old one died. She loves the size and brightness of the screen and so do I. I will definitely be purchasing a second one!

I'm sure there are a lot of futures on this computer, that I haven't learned yet. But the Best buy staff have little patience to answer questions

I know you get what you pay for, but this was such a terrible computer. I would not recommend this computer to anyone even though "the price is right." The battery life was terrible, the computer was slower than slow. It took 35 minutes just to turn it on. I had it for a little less than 3 weeks, and I had restarted it and I lost everything I had on the computer.

This laptop is absolutely huge at 17". Its very light as well, not hindering its ability to be taken around. However, it feels very flimsy and the plastic casing keeps residual skin oils on it after touching it. Its a quick machine and thats fine, but the build of it is definitely not ideal. If you need cheap and big, this is it. If not, find something better made.

Ok for the price. Runs fast. Seems to be made of plastic. Wish I had a do-over with this purchase.

Immediately after starting the computer up it was painfully obvious this is a SLOW Computer. Initial startup took over 17 minutes, which I could live with considering all the Cortana garbage you have to wade thru. However after removing all the garbage software that comes with the unit it was still sluggish and slow. Tried installation all the Windows updates to no avail. Subsequent startups took up to 10 minutes with the fastest being 6 minutes. Even trying to access the start menu would take 90 seconds for it to open. This computer was returned to Best Buy - If you have nothing but time to sit and wait this computer is for you. AOL Dial Up has better performance than this. First and Last HP

I needed a computer to check emails, pay bills, a little social media, and occasionally create a document. This computer was affordable and fit my needs perfectly.

Brilliant performance through and through. Perfect buy for day-to-day use. Extra large screen is a bit challenging but good deal for the price.

Laptop purchased for both home & work use. Sleek design, not bulky, fast. Very pleased with it so far!

This laptop works great and is fast for everyday computer work. I am not a gamer so I can't comment on gaming. It was easy to set up and I am very happy with it

I was afraid of a laptop because I remember them as being heavy. But I wanted something I could carry to my clubs and friends to show my latest projects. When I saw the particulars it took about 3 minutes to make up my mind, and when they handed me the box I was in love. I was able to set the computer on my Mom's lap and take her places on the internet without her having any discomfort. Its an excellent machine with the weight of about 2 bottles of water.

Replaced an older laptop that always had issues. This new one is fast and has a very nice screen. Quick startup and fast Wi-Fi speeds. No issues so far.

I like the a lot but have had it only a few weeks. Would recommend it and the price was great

I have to have several applications open at once, so I find the larger-screen very helpful.
