Most of my needs from a computer have been met by this machine. Seems at times to be slow to load, but horribly. I haven't had this computer 2 years yet and the right hinge has broken to prevent me from opening and closing the laptop seamlessly. I have been informed that it would cost at $250 to $300 minimum to look at a repair. No guarantee that once apart it would go back together. Possibly needing a screen as well since the hinge is attached in such a way that it is pulling frame away from screen.

I really like my laptop. I had to get an upgrade from the last one I got 5 years ago. Of course, there's bigger & better features on my new laptop which is why I'm very happy with my decision!

I decided to get an i5 processor after having several i3 processor laptops that worked great for a while but slowed down. I really like this laptop for just everyday use, web surfing, Youtube, TV, IG... everything but gaming is done here. Would definitely purchase again!

This was a purchase for my wife who is not a techie in any way and just needed a basic laptop for simple tasks. This does what she needs without any extra bells or whistles.

I read the reviews and checked out the ratings for all laptops. I was hesitant to buy anything Windows10 but this HP Laptop seems to work well with all the legacy software I have. The clerk I worked with was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Got this computer for e-mail, internet, music storage, scanning files for tax tracking.. I DID NOT get this computer for games. After the geek squad set up the computer, the system was working well. However, I do have a couple of issues with the computer. First, there are a lot of HP pop ups. Second, I had the computer less than a week when Microsoft issued an update. After the Microsoft Windows update, it takes the computer ten minutes to boot up. I called the geek squad to set up an appointment to have the computer looked at. In talking to the geek squad member, I was told that it is a HP issue. The windows update works with all computers, other than HP. I was also told that Microsoft, has put it into HP's ball park to provide a fix that works with the Microsoft update. HP has been working on the issue for about a week now, and still no patch. I was also told, that at this point there is nothing the geek squad can do and "You will just have to live with it." If you don't have ten minutes to wait for the computer to boot up, stay away from this computer. Take the time, talk to one of the Best Buy sales people and stay away from the HP computers. I guess it is true, you get what you pay for.

Very nice laptop, pretty fast on the boot up. Quick navigating the web. Windows 10 big improvement over Windows 8. Good battery life. Really nice with the 17 inch display.

No issues runs well. 1TB hard drive with the 17 inch laptop is the reason I bought the HP. I had a Asus for years but couldn't find one at best buy in the same price range.....

The computer itself was great but about 3 months in it started to have the case separate from teh body ...But I was able to send it in under warranty for a full repair

I purchased this unit to replace an older one I needed for portability. It performs much better then the one it replaced and has everything installed that I need to do my work. I wanted a laptop with a larger screen and this one fits the bill perfectly.

This is perfect for my needs. Nice screen for easy viewing, a generous keyboard for efficient typing and handles all of the video etc requirements I could ask for. Much better than the Asus I had previously, which I thought was a good one as well.

I purchased this computer for my grand son to use for school and gaming. He has several games on the computer and it does a great job playing them. The graphics and screen resolution are excellent and there is no lag time while playing.

I purchased this laptop after returning another for slow internet connection. This laptop has a faster processor and the setup was quick and simple. Love the touch screen and backlit keys.

Havent used it for gaming, but have used it to work from home and have had no issues with it. Boots up quickly and runs efficiently.

I was due for a new laptop for school. I love this laptop this one is a big size but I love it. The black color is beautiful and the laptop works super fast. The battery also lasts forever. It does everything I need it to for school.

Very fast system that combines speed with needed storage space. I have over 10,000 pictures and videos stored on it along with probably another 25,000 songs.

My old computer crashed and needed a new one asap. Saw this advertised and read the reviews. The reviews were right, it's a great computer and meets all my needs. I've only had it for three months, but so far I am very pleased.

This computer works great now. Initially I had issues with it and had to reinstall startup software. Now it works great and does everything I need it to.

This laptop is easy to navigate and I’m finding it easier every time I have to do something on it. It has everything I need and a good amount of memory so I don’t need to worry about the laptop telling me this can’t happen.

I bought this laptop for my son going away to college. He needed a reliable computer that could handle his workload. It's been perfect. He's had no complaints, and believe me, if he did, he would have let us know.
