Received my geek squad certified laptop today but it wont connect to ethernet or wifi! Device manager shows conflict with n/w drivers! Looks like the laptop is not inspected nor certified before it's sold

Being a college student and aiming for a degree in Computer Science I went out of my way to buy a better laptop in order to do my homework with ease. When I first got this laptop I was satisfied with the results, but after just a few months, the hard drive started to fail. You would think HP would put more effort into ensuring their higher quality products (I'm not rich, I do consider this laptop high quality) would last longer. Luckily I'm still under warranty through HP, but it'll take 7-9 business days to get my laptop sent back to me. If I'm lucky I'm sure! The other option was to have a technician sent to my house for the small fee of $50 plus tax. I can't really afford to wait long since I need this for school so I'm about to just spend the $50+ rather reluctantly. Overall happy with the laptop, good screen size, keyboard is good, up and down arrows are a bit of a pain because of their size, wish they'd change the position of the speakers (bottom of laptop). Again I've only had this laptop for about 6 months, my old ones usually had wifi issues after a year, or completely died. Getting tired of HP's issues, and plan to buy another brand next time just because HP has been CONSISTENT with theirs. I hope this helps someone decide before they spend $500 dollars on a laptop. If I didn't have any issues I'd recommend this to a friend but in my experience, if somethings wrong now there's more to follow.

This laptop comes with a TON of additional bloatware. If you take the time to research what you need and what you dont, and then uninstall the junk, it's a well performing device.

I am having trouble learning this computer. This is my second computer and I need help with just about everything

I've bought it for the components specs. I'm kind of disappointed. It's not as fast as I thought.

I was told when I bought it, that I would have no problem doing what I needed to do on it, but it keeps lagging and freezing.

Hard drive failed at 15 months, so not very happy about this purchase.

I bought this laptop for personal use last year and just recently the one of the hinges on the screen snapped off. The computer itself still works, but now I can no longer close it for risk of it completely breaking the monitor. Unless you plan to regularly use the system's built in HDMI output, I would not recommend this model as it barely lasts a year of regular use.

I wanted a nice laptop to run my golf game & that was it...this laptop was way overpriced for what I needed

Needed something for part time with and remote connection. This will do the job if you're on a budget

Not worth the money for this one. Had it less than a year and the hard drive went out.

I bought this and received a different one for a present so I returned this one.

Spoiled with HD, I never use any devices that dont support high-definition

the screen resolution is bad, but overall its a good pc for the price.

Just got PC but seems slow and often hard to reset

I bought this for my mom and despite the specs, it was ridiculously slow. Any multitasking really bogged it down—even after uninstalling most of Microsoft and HP’s bloatware. Unless you are just doing one thing at a time, like basic internet browsing or writing a word document (not at the same time). Thank goodness for Best Buy, I wiped this and brought this back and traded up to an HP Envy 360. The Envy 360 was more than double the price, but it’s a way better computer. If you can afford it, spend more to get a better computer—you won’t regret it. You’ll probably have plenty of regrets buying this though.

I didn't expect the laptop to be as cheap as it was. The laptop felt cheap, looked cheap, and ran like a cheap laptop. The worst HP computer/laptop I've bought in my life.

If I could give this 0 ⭐️ , I would.. this was bought for a work laptop, and the darn hinge on the screen broke, breaking the plastic casing on the outside, so now we can’t close the screen, or use it mobile.. we are DONE buying HP products.. Hope they’re happy with losing customers with their crappy one year warranty on something that’s CLEARLY a known issue which should warrant a RECALL..

I purchased this HP Intel core i5 to replace my Dell Intel Core i3 which I bought like 8 years ago. It is very clear to me that my old i3 is faster than this new HP i5!!!
