This laptop has a great display and runs fast. Easy set up. The only thing I would’ve done different is get one with an SSD.

This is one of the only computers they had that had an internal cd/DVD drive in it. This was a big plus for me as I didn't want something separate. I use this mostly at home so I don't rely on battery life if I did, this thing had horrible battery life, but since it's used at home this didn't matter much to me. I wish it had backlit keys but for a lower tier computer you get what you pay for. Other than the few quirks I've listed it works reliably and I've had no problems with it.

Very good basic laptop. Has numerous interfaces (e.g., WiFI but also RJ-45 ethernet, optical drive, HDMI, USBs...). Very adequate on-board storage (1TB), RAM, and processor. Importantly, did not come with excess bloatware, so I did not have to rebuild the system software upon purchase, which is what I had to do with a prior PC purchase from a major distributor of PCs formerly of TX. This HP PC came pretty clean from best buy. Wish it had a less expensive compatible docking station (the one HP recommended is way too expensive).

I was hesitant about buying anything HP after a bad desktop computer experience 15+ years ago. I needed a decently powered laptop for home/business use and for the price this one seemed a good choice so I rolled the dice. I've only had it a little over a month and so far no regrets (other than like all Windows products, you're forced to uninstall bloatware - which isn't as easy under Win 10). Setup was easy and from unpacking to useful took about 20 minutes. I also still wanted a DVD burner - which is getting harder to find.

Great computer with more than enough memory. Fast to do any task I've needed and great graphics. Also the low cost makes it even more attractive. Really good value.

I was looking for a reasonably priced lap top for a family of three to use for work and school. I did not want anything too complicated, as there is a person with limited computer knowledge using this. This was perfect for the sale price I was able to purchase it at.

This is my first laptop. The physical dimensions might be on the large side for everyday business use, but it is great for my purpose. Casual personal use, photo journaling and watching the occasional movie.

I needed a notebook just before Christmas to replace the last notebook I bought on a Black Friday special 7 years ago. I was in Ocala FL and ran into the Best Buy store and quickly examined the display units. I told the sales rep I was looking for a good, solid notebook PC, and he showed me several units...after reading the specs, I chose this one for under $500. I am very pleased with it (you can read the specs). Overall, I give it two thumbs up!

Good laptop for the price. The screen is big. The webcam quality is not that good.

I bought this computer on sale on black Friday and I'm very satisfied with the purchase so far. The laptop is extremely light, it weighs less than my 15" Mac. The 17" display is clear and the battery has held up to its advertised life time.

I appreciate the speed of this laptop. It is a bit faster than my eight year old Toshiba Satellite. What I don't like is how sensitive the touchpad is, even though I went in and lowered the sensitivity. Another thing I don't like is how it will sometimes click on the link just by hovering instead of actually clicking. I set all my preferences, but it will still on occasion glitch and react to a hover. But all in all for the price, it's decent.

Screen projects great images and this is a light weight computer so it’s great to carry around daily.

Great laptop and value with black Friday sale. Didn't realize it had built in CD/DVD so took back external drive back to store. Bought for my 86 year old mother-in-law, and although her first use of Windows X she is doing fine!

I love the size of the screen and the quick response when I put in a command, the graphics are great. I love how thin it is.

This computer has a very large screen and is very fast. I would recommend this computer when looking for price and quality.

Recently purchased this for my mother. She is looking to start doing some online working from home. This laptop seems to be great for that. It is not a gaming laptop but will suffice for my mother's needs.

I had to purchase a computer to replace my Dell laptop while it was being sent for repairs. I did not want a Dell and I wanted something with comparable features and capabilities. Best buy was having a sale and I decided to look at the HP. The computer has worked like a dream and I have not missed the Dell at all. The cost of this computer was a third of the price I had paid for the Dell 2 years ago and that includes the three year warranty! Love this new computer.
