Opens programs and internet quickly. Screen looks really good. Like that the heat vent is on the side instead of bottom.

This is my first laptop, really easy to operate and I like you don't need all those short cut icons all over the screen.

My daughter wanted a laptop for watching you tube and other social media sites so this laptop is good for that purpose.

This laptop has all that I was looking for and so far has been up to standard in speed, ease of use and reliability. All installations have been flawless and work well. I really like the fact that the keyboard has the number keys to the right.

I bought this to replace my wife's previous laptop. (Sugary drink spill). This time, I bought a separate wireless keyboard and mouse to raise the laptop up and off the table top. Should have done this the first time. So far, no problems with the new computer. Speed is faster and came with free virus software.

Pleasantly surprised to discover how easy it was to set up & begin using this laptop right out of the box, even though I'm new to Windows 10. Received outstanding assistance & recommendations from Josh at the Davenport Best Buy! Thus far, very happy with its performance, but lots more to learn about its capabilities. Also purchased printer, wireless mouse as well.

I was in a pinch for a low budget laptop with a large screen, for a remote work assignment. While I have not been a fan of HP in the past, this very reasonably priced laptop filled my needs perfectly. The screen is large and crisp enough to fill in as a desktop. I love the feel of the keyboard. And for as large as this laptop is, it is amazingly light. My purpose for this laptop is for software development and technical writing. The Core i5, 7th Gen Intel processor handled everything I threw at it. Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, and some additional tools for development. The only quirky things about this laptop is the lack of backlighting for the keyboard (I'm using a LED flex lamp when in the dark), and the internal wifi does not support the 5 GHz network band. I ended up getting a hi-speed usb wifi adapter. Overall, for a slightly above $500 price range, this is a sweet deal with the 8Gig of RAM and the 1TB Hard Drive. The quirks are livable with the right add-ons.

I was forced to replace my laptop when I had a hard drive failure on a previous HP unit. This one fit the bill - solid performer, fast, large screen. Wish it had touchscreen but that wasn't the deciding factor. So far it's working well and Windows 10 is yet to cause issues. Time will tell...
