It's a good laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first purchased the laptop I started having problems with the Tablet Mode where it was not responding when I clicked the screen. I had to do a reset on it but once everything was reset, it worked. I love this laptop so far but the only complaint I have about it is that it's a tad bit slow. I wish it would load a little faster but it's not too much of a deal breaker. Other than that this laptop is very nice and is the perfect size. I absolutely love the 2-in-1 laptop and also love how you can draw right on the screen,

Spend more money to get something better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this laptop. I am a writer, so I need an updated laptop for writing stories and doing research. I have a Dell that is about 6 years old. I am returning this laptop. It is very slow as other reviews have said. The HP isn't any faster than my old laptop. I mostly use Microsoft Word and surf the web. Both activities were relatively slow, and I'm relatively patient. I even tested the internet speed in various places with different servers and the lack of speed was the same. I actually prefer using my old 6-year old laptop. I will be returning this HP to the store. I guess I was expecting something so current to perform better. It just didn't perform the way you expect a "new" computer to. I was also a little leery getting the HP in the first place because they crash often. I think I'm going to try the Macbook Air. I don't normally spend that kind of money for a laptop, but I don't think I'm going to find a pc that has much to offer in comparison to price. I would only recommend this laptop for someone who has never used a computer before so that there aren't any expectations. 2 PROs: Awesome speakers. Fills up the room. Ease of typing on the keyboard

Great small laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this laptop. Was looking for something small, lightweight, good battery life, and fast. The quad core processor is fast even with the lower ghz and hard drive boots quickly without having issues with movement or bumps. Setup was quick with no interruptions except a few small updates. Screen looks and touches great and I like the compact size. Wish it had a replaceable battery but price was good and was on sale. I would recommend this laptop to anyone want small, reliable, and fast for it's options and pricepoint.

It's so slow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reviews on this were decent and even though I saw a few that said it was slow, I figured I can handle mildly slow for what I'm using it for which is really just surfing the web, online school (blackboard mostly), Microsoft Office etc. It's so horribly slow it took me a solid 15 minutes to get a page on my math lab to load. So I restarted it and it went a little faster at 5 minutes, but it's still ridiculous. You cannot have multiple tabs open at once or everything will just drag. I plan on returning it today after having it for about a week hoping to give it a solid chance. I'm just already over it. Terrible product and hopefully the people at the best buy I'm going to return it at will be more helpful than the people I bought it from who tried to tell me I needed 8gb of RAM for schoolwork which isn't ridiculous at all. 4gb is fine, but the laptop needs to be functional. Save time and money and find a different laptop. I'm shocked this thing has over 4 stars.

Not business worthy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this may be fine for a kid just learning how to use a computer. But, if you're looking at this for work or school spend a little more and get a better computer. This thing couldn't handle one of the main websites I have to use for my business. Office 365 and other programs worked fine. But after a couple weeks it just started lagging on certain sites. It's very slow but you get what you pay for. I returned this, and picked up a computer with 8gb of RAM, an 8th generation I5, and a SSD. I highly suggest you do the same.

Not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just graduated high school and was looking for a small cheap 2 in 1 to take to college with me. This one seemed to fit the bill. So I bought it. I've had it for a week, and hopefully will be switching it out soon. First, I had problems with the wifi. Everything else in my house would be connected except my laptop. I could handle that though. It was annoying, but all I had to do was forget the network, unplug the router for about a minute, plug it back in and log into the network. It was annoying, but it worked. My dad tried to fix it, and restarted it a few times. This was on the third day. On the fourth day, I booted it up and a few minutes after I started using it, it froze. Now it freezes every time I boot it up. In addition, I bought a stylus for it. According to Best buy and the HP website the stylus should work on my laptop. Does it? Nope. If it does happen to register, it's way off and opens some random program. I'll be returning it soon, and hopefully the next one will work like a laptop should.

Worst Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst Laptop ever. If I could rate it 0 I would. I have it for almost 2 years and I spent for on fixing it then what the actual price is. I have a friend she owns the same one and we both had problems with our touchscreens, which is not fixable, then the harddrive. When I went to buy it the sell asocciate told me this is the best computer and the best seller but I guess it was all for their own good. I will never trust the guys who sell merchandise at BestBuy ever again.
