My first HP laptop and I'm very happy with it

I chose this HP 2-in-1 because it had the exact specs of what I was looking for: 1) numeric keypad, 2) backlit keyboard 3) 15" screen HD 4) lots of RAM - 16GB 5) Lots of storage - 1TB and 6) Fast processor core i7. After looking at the specs online, what really sold this computer was the quality finish when I saw it in-store. It has a quality feel to it, silver metallic finish, thin screen and overall lghtweight compared to the cheap plastic finish of other computers. I've had this HP for 2 months now and I'm impressed and happy I got it. I wished they had put in a 1.5 or 2TB hard drive but maybe that is asking for too much!

At first was a bit hard to locate items. HPs are different from other windows products. Now that I have walked through the screen I find this an interesting setup. I am enjoying using it I do photography so this is a good product for me to edit my photos

I have a few problems with this system, 1. it can get so loud for no reason, 2, it gets very hot, 3, Microsoft will try force you to use its browser edge, which is frustrating because its a bad browser, 4, Cortana sucks, she trys but not good enough. but the touch screen is awesome it switches from one to the other seamlessly, its fast, its productive, efficient, smart and sleek, if you can get over those annoyances then buy it, all in all i'm glad i bought it, well worth the money

Not much of a PC fam [long time MAC user] but this touch screen and versatile PC has exceeded my expectations. Easy to use and HP support has been very good. Having used an Asus laptop previously and hated it, I was reticent but the price, looks and relatively good performance has formed the basis of a good relationship.

This laptop meets all of my needs from advanced spreadsheet functions to creating graphic greeting cards. The speed is great even while running multiple software programs. I don't use this for gaming so I can not speak to those functions.

Very pleased with the speed of this computer. I also love that the keyboard lights up when the light is dim or you can turn the light off during the day.. The touch pad is very sensitive so that is taking some time to get use to. Another positive quality is that it is lightweight and not bulky. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

We caught this laptop on sale, basically paying the same for an i7 as others were charging for similarly equipped i5 machines. Windows 10 activation was snap, and the display and audio are very clear. Mainly using for school work and light web surfing, occasional videos. Tablet mode is convenient at times, but definitely enjoy the touch screen regardless. Had one problem less than a week from purchase, Windows updates corrupted startup, making reboot take up to 10 minutes to reach the desktop. Seems like HP is prone to issues with updates, but was able to fix this by digging for pertinent forum posts. Result - back to lovin' it!

Optimum specifications for a Windows ink laptop

This is my first Windows ink based touch screen laptop. The hardware specifications are optimum for my usage. I do run computation heavy software on it for my Electrical Engineering work. The form factor, 360 degree screen rotation, screen resolution, and build in speakers, all are perfect and as advertised. In tablet mode, I do find it a bit cumbersome to work with the keyboard behind the screen, but that is the trade off you make when you go for a laptop+tablet combo. The windows ink technology is a boon as I do need to extensively mark up PDFs and scribble notes.

    Expected more from Geek Squad

Received my laptop few days ago. Love everything. Good, fast, sleek. One of the downs: more noise then I expected from fan. I love the design. I would give it 5 stars but my major down is with the Geek Squad. I bought open box, condition excellent, certified. In the description was said it will be cleaned. And guess what? I open it, turned on and it’s asking me for PASSWORD! What the heck? Instead of enjoying my new laptop I spent 2 hours installing factory settings. Not good guys! I usually go to local Best Buy for my electronics and it was my first time buying online from you.

This laptop is good for all uses except extreme gaming. I wanted a computer with a backlit keyboard with a number pad, since I have always had one with this configuration. The keyboard and touch pad are easy to use. The touch screen in IPS FHD is very good. It weighs in at just under 5 lbs and has great speakers for a laptop. The hinges, which are often a weak point in 2 in 1 laptops are very sturdy. HIghly recommend.

Needed a new Laptop for work. The Envy has proven to be the right choice. Added Office 365 and was up and running without problem. It has now been 3 weeks and only wish I had upgraded sooner. Multiple tasks operating at the same time with ease of transition and no loss of speed. The sound system is impressive for the size of the device. If you need a laptop for work or personal use the HP Envy will be a good choice.

I bought this computer for work and casual use. I love that it has a larger screen, the touch screen is not overly sensitive which is nice. I occasionally have issues with the sensitivity but not significantly. The pen I bought with it works well. I love that I can cast to my Roku for movies which I cannot with my Mac. Its compatibility has been great so far.

When I was forced to replace my old (and I mean OLD) HP Pavilion dv7 17" laptop due to Geek Squad online causing it to not boot up anymore (a completely different conversation, but still ticked off about that), I went to my local BestBuy and looked at a new laptop. I ended up looking at an open box item, the Envy that I'm writing on. It's a good quality 2-in-one, with a touchscreen, B&O speakers (still not as good as the dv7's Beats audio), and a LOT of power - 16GB RAM, 64-bit Windows 10, and 1TB HDD. Unfortunately, it had not been 'cleaned' properly - it still had an Office install on it, and after I removed it to put on a newer version, I find that the OS was corrupted. Fortunately, Geek Squad (in store) re-installed the OS, and so far, so good. It is quite fast, it's portable, and it has a good amount of ports - much better than the top of the line Spectre series.
