TLDR: Overall, this speaker was a great choice for me living in Hawai'i and spending a lot of time at the beach and doing outdoor BBQs. Good sound, good batter life, and good customer service. -- The sound is incredible for the size of this thing, I personally feel the sound is full and captures both highs and lows. Even in open spaces the bass sounds great and that's where most speakers fall off. At high volumes I don't really hear any distortion either. I am using Spotify and sometimes set the EQ to loud to get a bit of a boost and still no distortion. Indoors, it's game over. The sound is incredible, put it in a corner and it will blow you away. It will likely whoop your soundbar or any other typical home setup. When I use it indoors I don't want to upset the neighbors so I used the app to create a custom equalizer setting and reduce the base significantly. I initially had two of them to pair, and it worked amazing in both stereo mode where each one acts as a left and right channel, and the normal stereo mode where each does both left and right channels itself. If you are an audio snob, you'll like this one. Battery life is pretty good. It will last I'd say somewhere between 8 hours on full blast, which I think is pretty good. I wish it was a little better, but considering we are really jamming it, it somewhat makes sense and I still find it acceptable for its footprint. Plus, if you aren't putting it in a closet or anything, it is a simple modern design that looks good in a room. Also, I like the design because unlink the JBLs that call fall over or roll over, this won't. It's got a good weight to it. I was also considering the Soundboks, but I didn't like the price of the Soundboks, the weight, and the fact that it is mono output. Soundboks was so loud it becomes a nuisance and is like traveling with a cooler everywhere. I also like Bose, but tbh they seem to pump up the base to annoying levels where vocals get drowned out. My issues: I wish the back charge port covered by a rubber cover stayed in place better since I'm around sand a lot. I just don't want to risk getting moisture or sand in the ports, so I'm more careful in that regard. Other than that... it's a solid buy and I don't think you'll have many if any complaints. I initially had an issue where a couple months in it just stopped powering on or would immediately power off and lose charge despite not being used or unplugged for a day. Working with UE customer service was super easy though and they sent me a replacement one quickly. Considering I live in Hawai'i and didn't have to pay shipping either, I'd say that was a win.

I was not expecting this small portable speaker to have the quality and bass solidness it has. Love the color and the size is perfect. The clip fits on my Yeti. Highly recommend if you want a small sized speaker that give you the quality sound you are looking for!

Whenever I purchase any electronics product from Best Buy I always add the Geek Squad protection for peace of mind. For the purchase of my son's JBL Bluetooth speaker at Christmas adding this additional protection was a no brainer. I've only had to utilize the Geek Squad protection once but it was for TV purchase for my basement Man Cave. When the TV ceased turning on within the 2 year protection period I received a comparable model at no charge with no questions asked. Excellent service!

I opted for the 2-Year Accidental Geek Squad Protection with my Sony ULT FIELD 7 Wireless Speaker, and I’m glad I did. It covers drops, spills, and other accidental damage, which is perfect for a portable speaker I take everywhere. Knowing I’m covered for repairs or replacement if something goes wrong gives me peace of mind, especially for such a high-quality device. The process of filing a claim is straightforward, and Geek Squad’s customer service is always reliable. Definitely worth the investment for extra security!

I want to LOVE this speaker. The price is right for a speaker that can be connected to a network. Once it's connected and working, the sound is nice and I love having a good, sharp-looking speaker in the main room of my place. But there are issues that are dragging this rating down. The primary one is that the plug-in power cord fits so loosely, it disconnects very easily. So I haven't been able to successfully move it where I want it. Instead it's sitting at the edge of my cabinet for now, where I left it after getting very frustrated. (I'll get some duct tape or electrical tape to see if I can get it to stay put - and that really shouldn't be necessary.) Some of the best features (networking, connecting multiple speakers) require the use of Wi-Fi using Edifier's app. I could never get it to connect. It kept timing out or throwing off error codes. There is no trouble shooting resource in the included manual or online. I can send a message to customer service, but at this point, I just wanted to be able to play music while my friends are here tonight -- so after googling other reviews I learned I can change the mode and connect with Bluetooth only and don't need the app. Those reviews also report that using Wi-Fi and the app leads to even better sound - which is a bummer. I only have one of these speakers so won't be able to connect and use the stereo features of the Wi-Fi set up, so that shortcoming is irrelevant at the moment. I'll contact customer service this week and see if they can help me get the app to work and improve the sound and I'll ask about a replacement cable or try taping the cord so I can move the speaker without disconnecting power. If those two things don't work, I'll be happy I kept the box to return it.

I don't understand the bad reviews on this mimi JBL speaker. Size, sound and construction is perfect. Given to me as a gift from my niece. Absolutely love it!

The bass the loud in this little speaker is off the chain I take it to hotels when I’m traveling when I’m cleaning my house I turn it on now if you don’t charge it the volume will would low so keep it charged up to hear that loud bass !

It’s really great to have this insurance because when mine wasn’t working anymore and it was still before the 2 years they changed it and gave me a new one
