Has Lasted for 3 years! I’ve yet to file a claim but plan to do so very soon

Didn't know I was going to be using it so soon on the screen only covers about $400 worth of damage

They actually repair what you device needs and if the device can't be repaired they gave you gift card with the amount of money you paid to purchase any new device.

Works well for my kids virtual they are able to play games and more.

The Geek Squad team was very professional and helpful. They explained everything clearly, fixed my issue quickly, and made sure I understood how to use my laptop properly. Excellent customer service and very reliable support.

My experience was good so far, its a good investment and look decent.

Geek squad was so ready to repair my laptop after i broke my screen. The support they give is immense. They mean what they say. It’s worth it

To start off I bought an ASUS ROG gaming laptop about 10 years ago. I thought the Geek Squad service plan was a good idea just in case. I have dogs and kids and stuff happens...right? So I bought the 3 year total protection plan. Years go by and my laptop started getting an odd glitch in the keyboard. Letters would choose not to work or the cursor would skip back along a line of text and randomly delete work. So I brought it in to have it looked at. They had to send it out to be repaired because the instore Geek Squad was having their authority to make in house repairs taken away. A crime because the Geek Squad in my Best Buy store was made up of techs that knew their stuff and they saved customers a lot of time. Anyway after sending it out to ASUS for repairs 3 separate times after awhile it would start doing the same thing. I received an email from the stores manager asking me to come in and talk about my laptop. I expected to be told that there was nothing that could be done especially because I was past my service contract. When I got into the store the manager handed me a brand new ASUS ROG gaming laptop and an apology for not being able to repair my laptop. He further explained that although I was past the end of my service contract I brought my laptop in initially while I was still under a service contract. It was only because Best Buy and ASUS never fully repaired my laptop the first time that Best Buy was willing to replace my laptop. I know that this review is very long but the story is true and the Geek Squad service contract is VERY MUCH worth it. Thanks again Best Buy!

Sooooo glad i decided to get protection on my devices because i’ve already had to bring one in for damage and they helped me right away and got it sent off which is awesome! Makes me worry so much less thanks geek squad!!

Shipping on this was said to be Dec 9th, and was actually received on Nov 25. I bought this computer to play World of Warcraft, and although this computer may be more than I need, it was the right price at the right time!! This computer took a bit of time to set up but has run flawlessly. The only thing i can't seem to get to work is the Ultimate mode for the GPU on the Armory Crate. It will work for 10 minute and then the screen blacks out. I have not looked into this yet, the Optimized setting is perfect for what I need, and bring new visual life to WOW. The 16gig Ram is perfect, but i may still upgrade to 32Gig. (Most people will upgrade the RAM anyways) The Turbo fan setting is loud, but not annoying at all. The camera is grainy, too bad i no longer work in a call center, I'll never use it....lol Love this computer. Ultimate GPU mode not working is not a that big of a deal for me and none of this was a complaint, i do not feel a need to mark down to 4 stars. Five Stars it is!! If i find a fix for the Ultimate GPU setting, I'll try to update for other bigger gamers that may need it... I set this up myself, and did not have the need to use geek squad as of yet.

I get these protection plans for pretty much everything over $100, due to I find it beneficial when I have had things go bad shortly after the manufacturer warrantee. And if it is deemed "broke" beyond repair, they'll give you your money back on a gift to purchase something else.
