Geek Squad accidental replacement has saved me thousands over the last 20 plus years of buying from Best Buy ! I have always purchased the replacement plans for anything over 50 dollars is my rule of thumb and let me tell you I have had many things go wrong with many different items and Geek squad has always been there to save the day ! I have only had one bad experience out of probably 30 or more different returns over the years where they would not fix a tv and that was just due to a worker that didn't seem to like customers and tried every way possible for the repair to be denied lol

BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!! I never realized how fast my son was going through controllers until we had to start using this warranty. He currently has the Xbox series X and previously had the Xbox 1. Well the controller is compatible with both consoles so I didn’t lose my control with the warranty, thank goodness. All he does is return the malfunction controller with or without the receipt (they can find the warranty under the phone number making it extremely easy if the receipt gets misplaced). Then when you get the new controller you purchase a new warranty for $20-25 and you are all set again. It has saved me alot of money. Did I mention how much I LOVE IT!!!

My agents were able to provide the right help for me and were very friendly and on top of that, it was Black Friday, with them remaining with great attitude and composure. I was able to take this product home and enjoyed with all of my friends playing the ps5 that night at a party.

A must have when thinking of protecting your purchasing. I've never had a problem with it always taken care of very well no headaches. Definitely pay the extra amount to have peace of mind.

If you are buying something that is stupid expensive. Pay the extra for the protection plan

This controller is awesome, the buttons and functionality are awesome, and has great flow and a 2 yr blanket to boot.

You know... I had great experiences with the Geek Squad that I've looked forward to our brief interactions. I show them my faulty product they sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask me if I got the GEEK SQUAD warranty. Oh ho why yes Alex I do in fact got just that I say more or less. Then Alex gives me a brand new replacement. Oh how I love walking out Best Buy a satisfied customer. Alas these two years went by without a hitch and I didn't get to have that pleasant visit after all. Sigh maybe next time.

Some products are built to last and sadly others are built to last just long enough for the next models to drop so it’s important to research and know which companies do what. If you spend 8 hours a day using something then you probably need extra protection on it. Results vary from person to person. For instance, if you have a gaming channel, it doesn’t matter how gentle you are with your controller when you cut down 10000 trees a day in Minecraft you will wear out that stick and button and it will start to drift or stick on you and be useless for a clinch shooter game. Or if you’re a food guru fitness nut that eats 6 meals a day you probably use your blender way more than most people for shakes and food prep so it WILL wear out faster than advertised so it’s smart to pay a bit extra to get the 2 more years warranty where the guy with the gaming channel that only uses his blender once a month to make margaritas probably doesn’t need the extra protection. So think about it’s cost and how much of a problem it will be to replace if it breaks and decide what extension warranties are right for you.

I broke my controller and had the warranty for it all I had to do was take in the control(without the box) and they gave me and new one simple and asked if I’d like to put another warranty

I love the controller. The software support and customization are awesome. The profiles are amazing and switching between them is great and being able to use the adaptive triggers and switch the trigger stops are great. If you play on the PS5 a good amount and play a variety of games, I’d recommend it. Sure the battery does suck, but it’s an easy workaround, and it charges quick

This is the best hassle free warranty. I’ve used it twice for my Xbox controller. Then recently when my husband needed a ps5 controller we ultimately decided to go to Best Buy because of THIS warranty. It was the deciding factor.

The 2 year warranty in my opinion is a must especially if its a big ticket item. I have use their warranty exchange before and they do a great job. My experience my niece had accidentally snapped my headset earcup i took the item in for the warranty exchange the team was great and easy to talk with i had brought the item in its original box and everything it comes with I was able to get the same model or get store credit for a different headset i got new set and paid to renew the warranty for another 2 years

I always get geek squad protection Its always easy to come and have your deviced fixed or just straight up replaced, they also give you the option to but the protection again insuring your device for life basically
