This was the replacement of a headset that was damaged. I always recommend getting the warranty for small items. I was able to bring back the broken item, get it exchanged and was on my way within 5 minutes. I’m not sure why anyone wouldn’t want this service. The pros at Geek Squad are always quick and professional, and make the exchange process hassle free.

I am so glad of have a habit of buying the protection plan on all of my electronics. My son was using the VR headset for the first time and lunched forward, crashing into my desk. He was fine, but the desk and the headset, no so much. Best Buy replaced the VR headset without question. Now if i only had a service plan on my desk from the furniture store.

The products have amazing quality but accidents can happen. I would totally recommend getting this product as it is a plus on your purchases. Nice and diligent staff.

Always great to have extra protection. Products eventually wear down and when the manufacturers warranty ends, geek squad will be there to help out or replace product.

Has been absolutely necessary with my series 2 elite controller that I’ve now swapped out 3 different times due to faulty receivers that eventually go bad one place or another. The gamepads have been switched out with very little questions asked beyond the initial issue being detailed. I will continue to buy the insurance with all my electronics purchased through BB

This is SO WORTH IT on high-touch items like controllers and earbuds/headphones, especially if kids will be using them. Accidents happen, products wear out, and Best Buy are great about honoring these Replacement Plans. Sure, it might make that video game controller more expensive than you planned for, but you'll be thanking yourself a year from now when one of the littles gets excited and drops the thing on the hard floor and it breaks.

Wow people this is the BEST BUY of my life trust me is the best desition to ALLWAYS get the 2 year waranty. On all items with great value. Also for computers the geek scuat service is fenomenal.

My son love these controllers and has several of them. Just brought him this one as one of his stockings stuff for Christmas. One advice that I have is! if you have anyone that is a hard gamer like my son put the warranty to protect for stick drift.
