I never used to get any type of insurance but this service has saved me 1000s of dallors over the the last 4 years. Everyone knows that some things just arent made to last anymore. Yes it is a little bit more up front but when something inevitably goes wrong, best buy is there to replace it with no hassle.

I would never buy an Elite controller without picking up the 2 year Geek Squad Replacement plan, I haven't a controller yet that hasn't started to show major wear n tear or worse yet a complete failure of mechanical operations in the Bumpers moreso over the triggers but mainly the RB (Right Bumper) and its the most frustrating thing in the world when your trying to fire a rocket and the button your pressing doesn't respond accordingly, even after 3 attempts so I pack all the controller parts up an take it back to BestBuy and they take care of me, no issues.

I purchased this protection for my son’s SCUF gaming controller since we always seemed to have drift problems with his previous Xbox controllers after the 1 year warranty expired. I’ve had to use this protection with his previous elite controllers and the exchange is flawless.

A must have when thinking of protecting your purchasing. I've never had a problem with it always taken care of very well no headaches. Definitely pay the extra amount to have peace of mind.

Bought for my gamer son. He has been thru many headsets and he says a lot of them hurt. I loves the sound quality of these and they are actually comfortable for his head. They appear to have noise cancelling ability. Bought the protection plan just in case. So far 10/10

The insurance policy through Best Buy is the best policy out of all the major retailers. It’s essentially a no questions asked replacement of any defective device. I purchased an Xbox elite controller, after a while of heavy usage the controller had started to develop stick drift. I brought the controller and insurance information and was essentially told to get the replacement off the shelf. I ended up purchasing the policy on the replacement controller in case it also gets stick drift. I am very pleased with the policy and highly recommend people purchasing it with their electronics

I broke my controller and had the warranty for it all I had to do was take in the control(without the box) and they gave me and new one simple and asked if I’d like to put another warranty

My controller was starting to have stick drift only after a few months of using it. I was able to go to the store and exchange the controller for a brand new one. Young lady at the registers was kind and explained the whole process for us!

Guys order my new set and got it next day. No fuss no headache
