The best warranty for a controller like this, I’ve replaced it a couple times already and it’s just the cost of a new, regular wireless box controller. If you play competitively this is the controller and warranty for you!

Best thing to get and a good reason to buy from your local Best Buy and not online. Personally these plans have come in handy for portable game devices and controllers. But I also saw first hand how useful it’s to have one when a friend bought a tv and had to return it twice (!) for a broken screen. Normal warranty might be enough the first time if returned promptly but having a plan just... gets you a very different treatment and protection.

This is smart. I got a PS5 in Nov, by January i already had controller drift. PS was/is being a dick about covering the warranty and fixing it so i bought a new one, and got the Geek Squad protection. Anything goes wrong in 2 yrs, brand new controller. Considering it only took 3 months for the original to go bad, I foresee myself using this one!

I always purchase a warranty with anything I buy from Best Buy. I don't always use it, but the peace of mind is great, and any time I've ever had to use the warranty, I never have a problem. They have great customer service!

Definitely worth getting when purchasing any electronics. You never know what could happen. It could come straight out of the box damaged or something could happen down the line. Alway good to have a back up plan
