I never buy the extended warranty but employee talked about how headsets sometimes fall and break. My son was going to be using it and thought it was worth the money. 1 year later and we got a new headset. It was simple. Had our info on their system. Didn’t need a receipt. Would recommend for headset.

GeekSquad 2 Year Warranty is a must have when buying electronics. I get this with every purchase from Best Buy and I've never had any issues returning or repairing items.

With electronics, it's not a matter of if. It's purely a matter of when your electronic purchase will develop an issue. Geek squad protection is a must. Don't be penny-wise and dollar foolish. Had a controller fail due to stick drift and they replaced it no problem. I bought the insurance again because future stick drift is inevitable.

Great controller, Haven’t had an issue with it yet but glad to know once I do, i’ll have the choice to get it returned for a newer one.

Love the geek squad just wish they traveled to our area which is 120 miles from 2 different stores in 2 different directions. Very disappointed!
