Well worth it. Bought an expensive item that stopped working a few days after the manufacturers warranty ended. The item couldn't be replaced. After returning item (after a couple weeks) I was informed the item couldn’t be repaired. Credit was given.

We actually buy many things at Best Buy specifically for these 2 year replacement plans. We don't always need them, but when we do, the process is quick, easy, and fair. On occasion the price will seem high compared to the item, but usually it's a great value for the peace of mind. In this case, our 10 year old actually bought it, because he saw it come in handy for our walkie talkies, and wanted to protect the expensive headphones he was buying.
