If you shell out more than a few hundred bucks on something, it's wise to get the protection plan. If you never use it... oh well. But there will be that one time (like dropping a $800 camera) where you'll be glad you had it. Out of the dozens of times I got this, I've used it twice. Best Buy replaced my products without hassle.

They got me in the assessed the damage on my GoPro sent it in got back to me in a very fast and timely manner extremely professional and very willing to answer any questions or problems that I had.

I swear by the geek squad warranty, it is well worth it on anything you buy at Best Buy!! For example, My daughters Kindle stopped working, she has had it for almost 3 years, was just a few days shy of the warranty expiring, took it in & got full amount I originally paid!!! Crazy right? we then bought a new kindle & of course of the warranty!! Also make sure on the more expensive items you get the longest warranty offered! cause not all items will offer you a renewal each year so be sure to ask

Never as of yet had to use one of these warranty policies.
But its good to know its there if for some reason you drop or your item malfunctions your covered. A piece of mind!

For me, who uses my GOPRO daily, it is a tremendous opportunity to secure my investment. In my case, I use my camera every day, an opportunity that you should not miss when purchasing your equipment.

When it comes to protection plans many people choose not to get it. I personally think of it like this, and this applies to pretty much any type of protection; I'd rather have it and not need it than need it but not have it.

So action camera's have a tendency to overheat and that may ruin the board inside your GoPro. I think this is what happened to my GoPro hero 7 black dusk white edition. I had purchased the external audio adapter and tried a bunch of things and still couldn't get it to work. Fortunately i had the protection and it was extremely simple to go in and get a brand new gopro hero 7 black and be on my way!

It’s good. You can bring back your things for fixing and the teams are always amazing. The only thing is if you don’t have the best plan for Best Buy you only have a 14 day return period

This is a must add to your product. I always add this protection almost to all the products I purchase a Best Buy because they always take care of their end with their protection
