I buy this on almost every item I purchase from Best Buy. I also bought the other type of annual service plan they sell so I'm fully covered for all our 13 yr old's electronics. I don't fully understand what each plan/policy really actually covers but so far having them has paid off, especially when a $1400, less than 1 yr old, computer went bad a few months ago. It took a few tries but a very professional young manager stepped in on our 3rd appt for same issues & made it right It gives me peace of mind that our electronics are covered especially since we aren't able to repair them ourselves. My only issue is that I still haven't seen a detailed write up of what either plan covers (parts? accidents? Idk!) so I feel at the mercy of whoever serves us that day - but we are happy so far & I recommend getting the Geek Squad Service protection plan if you cannot fix your own computers. And always make an appointment online before you show up, in case they're busy.

ALWAYS PURCHASE THIS, whether you think you'll use it or not. The 'what if' factor does not always revolve around the longevity of the product. 'What if', something better comes along, 'what if', one day you wake up and say, 'I don't like this anymore'. Then, you'll wish you purchase the extra warranty. Yes you can just simply return your item, for just about any reason, within the extended warranty period. Don't be cheap! DO IT!!

Better safe than sorry. My microphone suddenly stopped working and to have a back up plan is great.

Dude that installed my sub and amp even went out his way and cleaned up some wiring from another job someone else did on my car! 10/10 would go back for another service

You can't go wrong if you are spending enough to justify a warranty. Especially since it covers accidents and what not. Who knows your dog or child might take a bite out of it!

Legit worth the money I work remote and my company is based out of Colorado so at the same time of my headset going down I would’ve had to wait two days for them to ship some thing for me instead of just you know I’m going to my local Best Buy. I’m really thankful that they had this option for a replacement and it was super inexpensive. Definitely got the warranty.
