    I count on products dieing an early death now days.. The are smart, but that means they're likely to die before their time as well.. I've always been a "not gonna waste my money on THAT" kinda guy, but in recent years these warranties have paid for themselves over and over. Now I usually buy the extended warranty on all electronics.
