We didn't purchase the plan with our last laptop and it only lasted 9 months. Damage was not covered by manufacturer's warranty. Very expensive mistake.

This is the best thing to have when you purchase anything really especially electronics and etc. to fix any problem you may not be able to fix if needed

Glad to have the one year of protection helps me by knowing that I anything happen to my computer that I can have it services and or replaced if needed

I bought this basically to provide insurance on my purchase. What I did not know until I got my computer home (45 minute drive from Best Buy), 2 days of transferring my files from old computer. I get an email that my purchase of this qualifies me to obtain "free" file transfers. It would have been nice to know at the time I purchased. Hope I never need to use the replacement warranty. I would recommend to a friend, but I would tell them to plan on using all the resources that are available at the time of purchase. Who would wait to transfer their files for 2 days?

I've bought products with this warranty and without. I won't pass on the warranty again. It's a bit pricey but it does come in handy and gives piece of mind.

My husband recommended I get the extended warranty. In reading the reviews of the computer I got some folks had some issues so this gives me peace of mind.

Best buy's geek squad service is the best , they are very knowledgeable aboiaboiut all electronic devices they sell, very well worth the money spent.

Purchasing a 3 year extended warranty is a MUST with any laptop or tablet purchase. Mfg warranty doesn't cover much and a LOT can happen in 3 years.

I always buy this when an option Best Buy ensures a smooth transaction later should something ever go wrong don't even need the original receipt

I am very pleased with webroot security and purchased a three year plan. I have not had any bugs or viruses or malware since installing it.

I had to use my protection plan after only having my laptop for a month and a half. They did a great job. I almost didn't get it but I'm glad I did.

I purchased 3 years of Geek Squad (GS) with purchase of Lenovo Yoga 910 Glass Special Edition on 12/4/16. My first GS service experience involved 3 issues for which GS succeeded on only 1: 1. Yoga would not connect to Garmin GPS for update even though GPS connected to other PC's, including WIN10 PC's. 2. Yoga was "idling fast" causing CPU loading ~ 40%, accelerated battery discharge, and a lot of fan noise. Task manager reported the problem as WiFi process. 3. Cursor seemed to jump up a line while typing and passwords didn’t seem to work correctly. Hint: I’m a touch-typist (I don’t look at the keys as I type). After several days, here’s GS told me or did and what I subsequently learned: 1. GS Failed - GS reported that my Garmin was not WIN10 compatible and nothing could be done with the PC. This was completely untrue according to Garmin and my subsequent discovery that turning off the “always-on” charging feature of the USB-A port solved the problem. 2. GS Succeeded. GS reported they solved the high idle by deleting a “ghost” WiFi driver that had not been properly deleted during a driver update. Nice job GS! 3. GS Failed – I had suspected an overly-sensitive touchpad. GS suggested turning it off and using a mouse. I subsequently discovered that the problem was never the touchpad in the first place. It was Lenovo’s gross violation of QWERTY convention. They placed the up-arrow key where the shift key belongs and placed the reduced-size shift key outboard of it. Every time I thought I was typing a capital letter, I was actually hitting the up-arrow key (VERY FRUSTRATING). I installed software to remap the shift and up-arrow keys, swapping their locations. Now only those who type while looking at the keys will get very frustrated. Dumb move Lenovo!

I am so happy with my laptop I can't believe the deal that I got I saved over $600 and I love it I use my Best Buy Visa card all the time

I am so glad the Geek Squad is there when you need them. They helped me with some issues I had concerns about. I think the Geek Squad is cool.
