I purchased this to go with my laptop. I never had to use the insurance. I would also recommend having the insurance.

I would never pass on the Best Buy Insurance Plan. Accidents happen all the time with laptops and this has covered me.

Because the item was on sale, we were able to add 2 years of Geek Squad coverage and still pay less than the regular price of just the laptop. Happy with that!

Be careful buying open box items-brought it home-contacted geek squad product didn't work-went to return item-was offered an asus-mentioned I wanted a Toshiba-was told didn't have it-told them only reason bought computer was because had Microsoft word on it-that they have to download it o-well 3 minutes later a Toshiba was presented to me because they didn't want to have to download Microsoft on to the asus-as far as Toshiba goes like the computer-completely new replaced one after minor disagreements
