This is a small price to pay just in case something happens. Always my luck I don't purchase it and something happens.

Shortly after the purchase of my wife's laptop the harddrive crashed and geek squad took care of it thanks .

I strongly suggest to get the protection. I have two laptops and have used the protection twice with no issues

Geek squad offered to upload key card and antivirus protection, but we didn't have the time to let them do it. They were nice and wouldn't have been fine.

My last laptop with the 3 year protection they only sent me one lousy remindered nearly 2 months before the expiration date.........and because we own 3 HP laptops with plans it got lost amoungst the others that were sent out 3 times to remind me..............so 2 days afer my expiration and differences between Geek Squad central and the local store I now don't have any protection on my older laptop. Just about made me NOT want to EVER buy from Best Buy again..........

I am not a computer or electronics wiz so it is important for me to have local face to face support. I have had good results in working with the Geek Squad.

Geek squad protection is always the best option for any purchase you know you merchandise is cover for any repairs
