We purchased the Chrome Book rather than a more expensive laptop as starter for our child who is in 5th grade. She loves that you can use it as keyboard or touch screen tablet. Great buy for the price. Easy setup since it uses the cloud for everything. Only drawback is you must have an internet connection to access apps & programs.

I'm very glad I got the Protection Plan on my Laptop. Within 2 months of me buying it, I had already cracked my screen. I took it into Best buy, and they said it would have cost $400 to fix! That's more than I spent on my Protection Plan, so I'm so glad I got it!

Normally I decline any additional options for my electronic purchases, but after dropping my previous laptop and this one being so small, I was afraid not to purchase it. It has come in handy with some bugs that I couldn't figure out. Agents have been professional and courteous. Hopefully won't need to continue to need support though.

My son has used the Geek squad 3 times with his gaming computer. The hard drive ended up going out and getting replaced. SO happy it was all free since we bought the 3 year coverage. We used to never buy protection plans and boy are we glad we did.

Note that this does not cover drops, spills and such usual catastrophes. But product was bought to accompany an ASUS and they are a head ache to get support for their warranty. Also learned it runs concurrent with the ASUS warranty so one is only buying a little extra support for a total of only one year beyond the ASUS warranty.

Despite the cost, experience has told me that a service contract is worth it for my laptop. Mine goes everywhere and gets abused so things go wrong. I have had good success with the GEEK Squad. I even got a computer replaced through them when I ad a lemon.

I hate spending the money, because you never want to use the service. After my wife cracked her screen, took the laptop in and they counter was great. Exchanged the laptop. We were in and out with in an hour. Most of that was deciding on the new laptop.

The Geek squad was very professional and helped me set up the computer via their website and internet connection. The removed the unnecessary software and made sure the the current software was up to date and that the system worked with my home wireless network.

I didn't expect to use this protection but a Windows 10 update crashed and I had to take into Best Buy. The tech was great and was able to fix before we left the store. Don't assume it will always be a hardward problem because they cover software issues also.

I have bought items from Best Buy for years and have always bought the service plan (Protection Plan). We have had to use it on several different items over the years and have always had the best service with them. They are great to do service with. Thank you

This was the best investment i ever made. Have used it twice. The geeks fix it fast and keep u updated every step of the way. If u don't purchase this it will be like paying for another laptop. Can't say enough about the geek squad. Glad they are there

The protection plan came in handy for my laptops especially when I had to return two out of the three that I purchased. Had I not purchased the protection plan I don't think that I would've been able to get a refund/exchange or the free diagnostic services.

Since my last computer was replaced by the protection plan I went ahead and purchased it on this one. So far I haven't used it but read the terms and conditions before you purchase it since a lot of things have changed. I basically got it because I know what can go wrong with computers and don't want to deal with fixing it myself.

Never needed a service before but was nervous about win 10. Glad I bought it, Geeks have rescued has three or four t imes from the foibles of win 10. Sometimes it requires two e-calls as one person might be less skilled than another but has always gotten us out of trouble. I have recommended the on line service to several friends.

I love how the service plan allows me to bring my HP Envy Laptop into the store anytime I'm having issues with it, and get it checked out and problem resolved by the Geek Squad without any additional charge to me. Thanks Guys. Keep up the good work.

My computer was hacked and held for ransom. The Geek Squad informed me that it could not be unlocked. However, they suggested buying a new hard disk for $79, and getting Windows recovery software from the manufacturer at no charge. This worked wonderfully.

A little bit disappointed with the service, confusion and INcomplete service upon my arrival after being notified that it was ready. Also, not everything transferred from my old laptop. However, I would not have been able to transfer ANYTHING so Geek Squad was necessary for me, the technologically challenged!

I have used the geek squad protection plan on a number of products I have purchased. They are lifesavers when I have computer issues, and most times the repairs or fixes can be done remotely by calling them. I wouldn't be without this protection!

I always received excellent service at Geek Squad. All my questions and concerns were answered clearly. I feel absolutely worry free about my computer. My computer is taken care of and I can complete my assignments on time. It is relaxing.

I bought an HP ENVY laptop and it is awesome! The 2 year protection plan from geek squad is exactly what I need for my clumsy self. I'm impressed that should anything go wrong, geek squad will fix and replace any damaged pieces or parts. SWEET!
