Having Geek Squad is all anyone needs for anything and everything you purchase from Best Buy. They analyze and get the problem resolved quickly. Plus you can call them as much as you like for any problems on any device and they get the job done! These guys and gals are awesome!

Best Buy's warranty is the best one out there that I have encountered. I learned that when I bought warranty for my Ipod and it fell down a flight of stairs and Best Buy gladly Swapped it out. Wonderful place for warranty

Well I made a big mistake last time I bought a lap top. My dog cracked my screen and it's now my desktop. I was going to return it to best buy but since I didn't get protection, guess what? They don't/wont return the item, even if you are willing to pay out of pocket. Well, I"m not going to make the same mistake again. Better safe than sorry.

We purchased the protection plan for our 12 year old. It's the best option when buying laptops for children. They will inevitably drop it, or step on, or leave it in hot car. This plan covers accidental damage, which is exactly what we needed!

I purchased the warranty from GeekSquad based off of others who had purchased it in the past. I felt it was a little pricey but knowing we have full protection for a few years on a brand new laptop made it well worth the investment.

Laptop stopped working so I brought it back to get it fixed. They couldn't fix it so they give me a refund. However, the laptop was no longer on sale and went back up in price. Toke a while, but they ended up selling it to me for the same price I originally bought it for, so that was nice.

I have purchased the Geek Squad protection plan for all of my computers. Luckily, I haven"t needed their help very often. The few times that I had a problem they were able to help me solve it. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I will continue to use them in the future.

I've had to use my protection plan many times in the past. I highly recommend it to everyone buying a portable electronic device. There are just way to many possible problems and this covers just about all of them.

I have several products from Best Buy and have been grateful for the protection plans as accidents happen and the security of knowing that I will get a great diagnosis and great service in any repairs is amazing!

I bought this laptop for my wife as an early Xmas present. Nice and lightweight. Good battery life. Nice sound. She loves it. I bought the Geek Squad protection for it due to it having only a one-year warranty.

Awesome computer! Had no idea what kind of computer I was going to get but the man that helped was great! He explained the differences very well & helped me end up with this computer and I couldn't be happier.

I purchased the additional 3 years of support plus that covers accidents such as spilling my drink on it. The purchase price for it was much less than replacing the laptop should something happen to it.

I feel this is a great computer for the price. I have previously had issues with HP's running a bit hot after using for awhile. Have not had that happen with this one. Runs very well and very fast.

I don't know what I would have done without Geek Squad!!! I utilized the service multiple times the first week of owning my new laptop. I will never buy another computer without this service.

This is a must have. Laptops aren't made to last a long time anymore. If you get more than 2 years you're a lucky person. That's where they can save your sanity when sonething goes wrong.

THIS IS A MUST BUY THING IF PURCHASING A LAPTOP, TABLET, PHONE ETC. I BUY IT EVERY TIME AND IT ALWAYS ENDS UP PAYING FOR ITSELF IN THE END. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT IT NOW.

i hopefully won't need to use it, the nearest store is an hour away. by the time they would get to me, i can fix it myself. it's usually 2 weeks or more i have to wait. :( only good if something happens before warranty expires.

I had a laptop die mid task. The Geek Squad was able to retrieve all of the documents from the hard drive and transfer them to my new HP - Pavilion 17.3 Laptop. Thank You!

I did not use the software. I already have a subscription for anti-virus/Firewall that meets the specifications required by the company I contract with so I gave it to an elderly friend and they have had no issues with it.
