would be nice if I could actually put it on the computer

1 TB SSD, 2 TB HD - the Geek Squad installed the SSD as primary drive with a special mount, imaged the new drive, and connected the already installed HD 64 bit, 8 ea. i7-6700 3.40Ghz processors, seconds to boot, seconds to shutdown, Windows 10 is ok, but I prefer Windows 7, no problem installing Office 7

so my brother wanted a gaming p.c. and he didn't want to spend over $600 i looked around and to up on this it was around his price range and just what he was looking for to start of with. so if you are not looking for a high price pc you should do for this one here

The Geek squad has been really helpful, understanding, and thoughtful. The 3-year Geek Squad Protect & Support Plus is an essential purchase. I would definitely recommend it to others.

A must have with 2 boys in the house who are crazy and not always gentle with expensive items. Hopefully we will not have to use it, but if so, it's a great price of mind to have.

Worth the purchase on any product you purchase. ..

Bought the protection plan with my new desktop. Wasn't concerned about the protection, actually just bought for the "help". I've now called in twice and both times found the "help" to not be there. !st call I was trying to move contacts from old computer to new. Was told "can only help with new computer" 2nd call I needed a simple fix that took HP all of about 15 minutes with a chat to explain what I needed. BB wanted to remotely take over my computer and I would not be able to talk with them while they did it. Plus it took 10 minutes to get setup so I could wait 20-30 minutes for the tech. So far, not what I expected and not worth the money.

I have the purchased geek squad and everytime I have them fix something they didn't fully fix it. I asked them to help install a program and they said I would have to purchase a HOME GEEK SQUAD program. One interaction was horrible but most have been ok.

If you are purchasing the geek squad protection plan with the mind set that you are going to get the internet sercurity software as it states in the plan details then do not purchase because you don't. I spent over an hour on phone with number of people that just kept transferring me to another because they could not figure it out. the only reason I purchased it was for the internet sercurity. Very bad service when actually talking to anybody. I wont purchse anymore from best buy
