I had purchased the refrigerator and the 5 year Geek Squad protection. Within the first 6 months the refrigerator had to be replaced. I did not get a new 5 year plan or 4.5 year plan with the new refrigerator that I paid for. I was not informed that the plan was replaced by the "NEW" 4 year plan. Yes it is good coverage, but that is not what I paid money for, I lost 6 months of the original service plan. This plan has covered 6 repairs and replacements to this refrigerators ice maker and they were willing to help me with the information to have the item repaired by Samsung. My lesson, never assume and ask every question that comes to mind.

We bought all new Samsung appliances for our kitchen. We have had a few issues through the last two years with each appliance, and the Geek Squad service has been excellent. They replaced the whole top of my stove, they have repaired our ice makes on the fridge, and adjusted some of the parts on the dishwasher. Great home service through the pandemic. I do have this protection on my LG TV too, but hated that it was outsourced to a company that is two hours away from me and took almost two weeks to get my TV back from repair.

Started out as a very good ice maker, makes ice really quickly. We purchased this unit back in January but since then it has gotten noisier and noisier while making ice.it still works great, it’s just annoying to use due to the noise.

Arrived as promised, was damaged in 2 places. Best Buy is sending a new one now, we shall see. Side note, I offered to keep it as it will be in my shop but requested a discount, they offered $4 credit, needless to say that wasn’t going to work as I won’t pay 95% of retail for a damaged item!

This is so worth it for the price!! We recommend getting this. Not because you need it but because life happens and for the price it’s crazy not to.

Better have warranty well worth money you won’t go wrong buying it

We hade a case that refrigerator was damaged while delivery. And with this protection plan they changed in without any problems.

Geek Squad is a great service from Best Buy, and highly recommend.

Great purchase, my wife is breast feeding and we needed a mini fridge. So glad we stopped at Best Buy in Mays Landing. We got a great deal!

A 4-year warranty brings confidence all is well should the ice maker breaks down. I have been using the ice maker every day since I bought it. It works exceptionally well. If I should have any problems with it, I would take it back to the nearby Best Buy to either have it fixed or replaced. You can't beat that.

Is definitely up there in the 4.7 range. Freezes extremely quick, and can hold its temperature really well. Currently reviewing this product a month after purchase and I can safely say that this was a wise investment for future to come. Will be giving an update later down the line if something does happen though!
