Bought just in case this 4K stops working for me within two years. Read many reviews and most complained they had issues with it within 2 years of purchase. It’s more of having a peace of mind.

Had issues with my Sony DVD player however The geek squad took care of the issues and I was able to replace it in a timely manner.

Warranty for bluray player! 4 years! Felt you can't beat that type of protection for a 4k blu-ray player! Definitely would recommend for those who want to protect a technological investment!!!
