When ever I buy something from best buy. If they offer geek squad protection. Most the time it is wise to get it. Being able to have them come to your home or bring the item to them to fix or replace is way better than having to get on the phone with someone in who knows where to try a get your problem fixed. And there protection plan is usually better than what comes with the product

What can onbe say, you get exactly what you pay for, so if you're willing to pay just a little bit extra for the piece of mind that you don't have to worry about sending the radar detector back to its manufacture if it breaks, so all you have to do is bring it back to any Best Buy location and you'll get a new one then this is a bargain for you, it was for me.

These warranties are fantastic. I always do the warranty and though not always needed it's such a blessing to have it covered.

For a minimal fee, worked out great because 2yrs. down the line, I had to get a replacement. Nothing lasts forever and if you're planning on keeping your equipment even for a short time, I suggest looking into extended warranties.

I bought an open box klipsch rsw - 10, 300 watt powered subwoofer and bought the 2 year warranty, sure glad I did. About 6 months later the amplifier went out and best buy replaced the speaker with a brand new one. Can't beat Best buy.

I purchased the four year standard Geek Squad Protection for my new Klipsch K-26 floor speaker. It cost less than $40.00 for all four years. What a bargain to cover repairs to an expensive purchase. Good decision.

I always get the warranty. In all the yrs. the only time I regret it is when it expires! Lol! If the product out runs the warranty, u know u got ur money's worth!!!
