Bought during black Friday. Excellent price. Couldn't pass it up for half price. Easy instructions. Only takes a couple minutes to complete and then drop it in the mail and all set.

Purchased as a gift for my mother who had always been interested in her family history. Sample was easy for her to get & return for processing. Results were returned via web, so came within a few weeks & were fairly accurate for what we know about our lineage.

This is a good DNA kit with a very detailed report. One less star because.... too many retests needed, which extended the report and wait time. (free retake kits were provided) It happened on more than one occasion with several family members, but with saliva, it’s probably hard to get a good concentration on DNA, over lets say blood or a cheek swab. Overall, it’ll be worth the wait.

Since my parents couldn't really give me any definitive answers about our history so I decided to buy this and see if it told me any new information. I'm happy I did because I did find out a lot of new stuff. The good thing about this kit is once you get it you wait 30 mintues (don't eat or drink anything) then spit into a vile that comes with the kit and send it off in the box in came in that already has a prepaid label on it. They say it takes about 4-6 weeks to get results but for me it took about 2 and half weeks. Just FYI it tells where your ancestors most likely came from but there is a percentage that is unknown in the test results. If you're curious to know where your ancestors were from I would say give this product and try. Oh yeah and you can connect with other relatives that have sent in samples as well. The good thing about this is you don't need to pay for a monthly subscription like other DNA tests.

The basic kit just gives your pie chart percentages. What percent Eastern European, etc. You have to pay extra for everything else. However, my husband was pleased, so that's what counts. Results came back pretty quickly as well. Quicker than stated.

DNA testing kit was much cheaper buying it in store for some reason but it was easy to use and results were pretty quick.

Although I have not received the DNA results back yet, this 23andme kit was easy to use. The instructions were clear and the whole process was easy to do.

The kit is really easy to use, just follow the easy instructions and mail it out. They also include a prepaid label. They couldn't have made it any easier. The results take awhile but when you get them, the information is super easy to read and understand. I got a kit for my sister and will be getting another one for my mother.

Got this one Black Friday. Very easy to set-up and do the test. Results took maybe a week or so. Very fun to see what part of the world youre from!

I bought this on black Friday and it was discounted significantly and I received a Best Buy gift card for the purchase. It was an excellent deal. I gave it as an early Christmas present and the results came much quicker than if the recipient had submitted them after Christmas (like I had the year before). Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

I did the ancestry test and it was very interesting - a few surprises there which are likely accurate. You can change the confidence level of your report (default is over 50%) to up to 90%, which then tends to put you in broader regions and less localized. All in all the report is very interesting and I’d recommend it. I didn’t do the health test (you can upgrade later if you want without having to send your saliva again)

Got this during the holiday promo price as a gift and seems it’s the gift that keeps giving. Recipient has been thrilled by the ease of service and results and upgraded his options. Makes me wish I bought one for myself at that price, but I plan to do so during the next holiday sale. I still can’t justify it at full price when there are so many other reputable Genetic companies that essentially do the same thing!

So I cannot say anything in regards to the results portion of this but the process is very easy to follow and my best words of advice is read the privacy and terms before you confirm the registration. They give you options to opt out of research and advertisements but you need to make sure the right boxes are checked. Overall, it looks to be a fun experience. They provide everything and the process so far has been pretty easy.
