I always wanted to know what my ancestry consisted of because people always asked me and this product really dives deep my mother tried another ancestry kit but this one seemed much better.

23andMe gave constant updates to let me know the process of how they got information on my DNA. i would buy these for my family members if I could. It gives a lot of detail I wasn't exepcting

Bought this as a gift, I have taken one personally and think it's cool that they update you via email if they get updated data and and you can see more specifics about your genetic history

Aside from needing quite an amount of DNA (saliva), everything was seamless. I received my results sooner than expected, and it was a lot of information which was easy to understand.

I was curious as to the outcome of the DNA test from 23andMe to compare to the Ancestry test I had already done. The test was purchased on Black Friday and sent in that weekend. The lab received the sample fairly quickly. After 2 weeks I get an email saying that they couldn't get any cells to use, which they said was unusual and I would have to submit a new sample. I received the new vial, worked up a good amount of saliva and sent it back in. It is now Dec 19th, almost a month has passed since I started this whole thing and still waiting for them to process the results.
