Easy DNA kit to set up and mail. Results are two months behind

Easy to use kit and you get the results fairly quick. Nice to see my ancestry mapped out.

This was the best couples gift ever! We loved it! We learned more about ourselves then we ever did before! Great product and it did not take long to get the results back. The app that you use for the product is very informational and fun! I have found out about family that I was related to that I never knew from all over the world.

The 23 and Me DNA test is easy to use and administer as long as you have a computer or mobile device to register your kit. However, if you want to get the full "genetic" testing (to see if you carry a gene for specific diseases), you need the other version. If you buy this kit, you can upgrade at time of registration but the cost is significantly more than buying the kit at time of purchase. Which is a bummer, because it offset any cost savings. The reports for family/DNA testing for relatives are very interesting and worth the time.

I bought this as a gift for my son who is adopted. When he recieved his results it matched him with biological family members. It has changed his outlook on his background tremendously. It can be emotionally hard but well worth it.

I took the ancestry DNA test and was disappointed, it did not show the DNA I was told was in my family by my mother and a Doctor. I took the 23 and me test and it lined up with what my Mom had told me and the Doctor. Plus it showed some more DNA that I didn't know as there. It didn't take long to get the results, and the results just blew me away. Great DNA breakdown and pretty extensive. If I had to do this again I would have bought the 23& me test off the bat and not bothered with the Ancestry DNA test. You want a great breakdown on you DNA without any bias go with the 23 & me test.

What do you buy someone that has what they need, doesn't become clutter? This! I had no idea what to buy my parents for Christmas. I am not big into stuff. I saw Best Buy sold this, had it for a great price, and gave a gift card for future purchase. Bought it. Looking forward to their results. Plus, it is kind of a gift to me, right?

Learned A lot from this buy. You’ll be super surprised if you buy this. The only downside you have to wait to get your answers but it worth it. I’m .042% Chinese now I want to go to China and learn about my ancestors lol

The test itself was very easy. The packaging and then app download is also very cool. After you send in your sample, you get updates on where they are with the process. I have had several family members do this as well and this product is highly recommended. If you're curious at all about your ancestry - check this out.

I brought this for my daughter for Christmas. She's 20 and always been curious about her light eyes and skin tone. She found out the she mostly west African, European, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. But she was very happy with her results
