Takes too long

Had to resubmit

Unfortunately the claim is there was not enough sample to examine. This was not an unsubstantial specimen. I’m confused as to how this is possible, given my understanding of the minute sample that is required to obtain a profile.

Posted .Due to biological variability, some people don't have a high enough concentration of DNA in their saliva for our technology to process. If you haven't already done so, make sure to request your replacement or refund from within your 23andMe account.

Just not sure what to think so far.

Not Worth it

You can have the gene and not have the disease, you can get the disease and not have a gene! So why bother? I thought I would learn something, but it turns out all I learned is bunch of useless information and most of it is not correct.

Our test is meant to be used for informational use only. If you received a "Variant Not Detected" results, this means you are not at increased risk for the condition based on the genetic variant we tested. However, it is important to keep in mind that there is still a possibility of developing the condition. Factors like lifestyle, environment and genetic markers not covered by this test also play a role. Information about your specific result is available in the FAQ section of the report.
