Posted .Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your saliva sample failed analysis. Due to biological variability, some people don't have a high enough concentration of DNA in their saliva for our technology to process. Customers who are unsuccessful in receiving results after two saliva samples have been provided are able to request a refund from within their online 23andMe accounts.

Over promised... and under delivered.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great novelty idea, and maybe as they collect more of our DNA then the results will improve, but I didn’t care for the “insight” I got from the test, and that it can change. Also still not super at peace about my DNA being in a private company’s possession.... they will always say “they will protect consumers” until they won’t and it’ll be too late.

Test came back unable to prosess

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought 2 tests for 2 different people and both came back twice saying they could not pieces them because the concentration of dna was not high enough. Then I was told I couldn’t even get a refund! That is ridiculous!
