    I enjoy genetics so this was pretty fun. Some of the health information can be scary. If you’re the type to want to be proactive, I recommend it. If you’d rather wait until the tires fall off the truck, maybe stick to the Ancestry only.

    Kind of fun. I picked this up thinking, "hey! What a great way to ruin Thanksgiving!" Unfortunately, there were no surprises in my ancestry report. Nothing Maury-worthy here. That disappointment aside, the report and the way you interact with your data after the fact is incredibly cool. I'm still connecting with new relatives (third to fifth cousins who have no idea where we're actually related in the tree, but, hey! Genetics!) in the app, and they keep adding new insights. I feel that, nearly a year after purchasing, I've received my money's worth and it's been a sound investment.
