I needed a little flat-screen, and found the Insignia for $89 bucks. I don't watch a lot of TV, only the news, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I took a chance that it would just "do". I was pleasantly surprised. My landlord has a huge one and said the reception was better than the one he had. I am very happy with this TV. The set-up was so simple, even I could do it. :))

Replaced and seriously upgraded the TVs of an 87 year old. Had not upgraded since 2008 and that was the NEWEST (with DVD player). Needed a simplistic remote with easy visible button arrangement. The TV didn't own the den but was big enough & clear enough to be seen about 8 feet away by an 87 year old. OTA (over the air) TV was the end result - no need for Netflix, screen casting etc... so the crowding of a SMART remote would have killed the simplistic concept. The money saved by dropping cable was enough to cover the cost of the TV in savings in just 3.5 months. Neighbor saw the TV set up and was impressed by the clarity. Insignia was the IN HOUSE brand for Best Buy - Vizio is good but Insignia's remote was the real seller for ease of use.

If you just need a new, no frills, TV to replace an older one, this is a great buy. Beautiful picture, HD, smart TV, and easy setup are the features that I looked for.

The TV looks great. Nice slim bezel, also it isn't very deep. The picture looks good from a lot of angles, nice wide angle viewing. I know it is a 720p TV but when I connect my Asus Nexus player the tv reports 1080p 60hz and it all looks good. One thing to note, make sure you adjust the settings and change the picture to anything but the economy mode and it looks even better.

This is a fantastic little tv. The price was fantastic! I recently decided to upgrade my cable and decided to replace a couple of CRT tube tv's.i kept looking for a good deal and this was it! So easy to install. Great picture and sound. Hardest part was reprograming the remote. WORKS GREAT! Thank you Best Buys.

I was looking for a smaller tv for my kitchen and was quite impressed with the quality. It was easy to program and has a beautiful picture! Money well spent.

I purchased this to view before my larger TV arrived & now use it upstairs. Very satisfied with picture & reception from a simple antenna.

Good size tv for a small cramped room. But the best thing was the price. Plus I own another Insginia and they're good quality.

Good picture and sound using rabbit ear antenna and get 32 hd channels on it crystal clear.

Could not pass up the 4 hour price sale before the holidays. Sound quality improved a lot.

Best Buy could not fix my tv even though it was close to the warranty expiring they replaced it with a new one with even more features

Pros: great price $52 for me Great picture 1080p 60hz on hdmi inputs Thin and light Has a 3.5mm headphone jack 2 hdmi inputs incl ARC and CEC Cons: speakers are ok but not excellent Only one button on tv (controls power and input) It's a 720p tv but I have a nexus player connected and the screen tells me it's 1080p 60hz which is true. Super bonus. It has CEC controls which is also awesome. The speakers are alright but I have it on a wall mount and the downward facing speakers don't have anything to reflect off of, but I know front facing aren't as pretty. I usually play it through an external speaker anyway.

Easy set up, spectacular picture, perfect size and lightweight. Terrific Value for an outstanding television!
