Relatively easy to install. As a professional cabinetmaker, I don't see an issue with durability unless the mounting screws for the plastic face plate are over torqued (causing the face plate to distort or break). Pre-drill the holes for the face plate and secure the screws by hand. Kinda pricey.

The actual frame for the microwave is plastic, but sturdier than expected. It's not quite as sleek as I'd like it to look; it's a little bulky and projects out from the cabinet face by about a half inch. But the options are limited and this is super easy to install so it's worth getting.

The new trim kit is smaller than the existing holes made for the older models that it replaces. But they do sell stainless steel filler strips on Amazon. Problem solved and looks great.

I was able to get an open box item so the price was a bit better. The kit to mount the microwave is metal and the trim kit is plastic. The price is a bit high for simple metal and plastic. It gets the job done and looks good.

It was wider and shorter in height ahan my old unit removed from the cabinet. Returned trim kit for full refund. Still waiting for credit back to my card.

We did have to do some cutting on the trim kit so that it would sit evenly. Not sure if that was the fault of the builder or the trim kit itself.
