The trim kit looked fine but was just too big. I recommend it and the microwave if 30” works for you.

It did not fit very well in the space that I was using for my microwave and I had to awkwardly cut into the shelving to support the frame. The manufacturer could’ve added a few more screw holes for better flexibility for installation.

Downside is that it is fairly pricey for what it is. I got my microwave on sale, and this extra piece was almost $100 more than the microwave, which is a bit ridiculous.

Why does the trim cost so much more than the microwave itself?….because it is a proprietary design that only works with LG microwaves - they have basically manufactured value for this item by making it proprietary and then charging an arm and a leg. Shame on the manufacturer. Shame on Best Buy.

When I clicked the cart to check out the delivery date changed to 10/28. Delivery was not acceptable, so I decided to cancel the order process. Best Buy immediately changed the date back to 10/25 so I went ahead and purchased. On 10/25 the product stated it was on time. The end of the day I was notified delivery ould not be until 10/28, To late for my needs. Now I have a 4.5 hour drived to pice up the product. IT WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN THE ALLOWED TIME FRAME. I'll think twice before buying from Best Buy again.

Microwave trim kits are overpriced (EVERYWHERE). 1/2~ of the parts are identical to the other kits. This kit was easy to install. It only took less than 5 minutes. It fit well with the LG microwave.
