It did not fit very well in the space that I was using for my microwave and I had to awkwardly cut into the shelving to support the frame. The manufacturer could’ve added a few more screw holes for better flexibility for installation.

Downside is that it is fairly pricey for what it is. I got my microwave on sale, and this extra piece was almost $100 more than the microwave, which is a bit ridiculous.

Why does the trim cost so much more than the microwave itself?….because it is a proprietary design that only works with LG microwaves - they have basically manufactured value for this item by making it proprietary and then charging an arm and a leg. Shame on the manufacturer. Shame on Best Buy.

Microwave trim kits are overpriced (EVERYWHERE). 1/2~ of the parts are identical to the other kits. This kit was easy to install. It only took less than 5 minutes. It fit well with the LG microwave.

Only complaint is that the trim kit cost more than the microwave. Seems a bit odd since the trim kit has no electronic parts.

If i had a dime everytime it has fallen off when i open the microwave i could of bought a different kit. I would return the kit but its passed my return date. worst thing is that is has been sitting in the box in my garage since my construction people couldnt install due to COVID, very disappointed...DONT BUY......
