If you own electronics and you have kids, purchasing an extended warranty four laptops and other items is crucial. I have never had a problem with service from Best Buy so I don’t have a problem with purchasing service plans.

Its always a good idea to get the protection, try to think about how youre using the product and the environment it will be in. For my mose costly electronice i always have them plugged into a ups that has automatic voltage regulation. I would like to see a better assessment of coverage options. Most just go by cost of the product, but if they really stood by quality of the items being brought in , that would provide a better scheme for coverage options.

The protection although I have not had to use of the most recent purchase has always been exceptional. when using the coverage in the past, I have been satisfied with the product replacement

Once again, Geek Squad never disappoints! When my tablet broke! We sent it in to get repaired, it was not repairable so we got a refund towards a new tablet! Awesome service!

I have had to use this twice and it was seamless and stressless.

Its a little expensive but its good to know if you have a problem there somewhere to get help. It would be nice if you didn't have to repurchase it once its used to replace the tablet. It would be nice if you could get it at half off if you have to replace it.

The Geek Squad staff in person and on the phone have always been efficient, curteous and of great help when needed in the past and I have no doubt they will do the same if needed on this new item I purchased. The only issue I have is with the manner of how they are managed in the store. In the Boynton Beach store there's always chaos at the Geek counter. There's no line for people with appointments nor a line for those without appointmens who just have a quick question. There's no way to check in if you do have an appointment thus you have to wait on a long line which is ludicrous and makes the appointment concept mote.

For the Fire HD 8, I recommend buying , Geek Squad protection warranty plan. Anything can happen to this device and you will be cover. If you drop the device and it stops working, let the Geek squad look at it, The warranty plan lasts for 2 years. I always buy the warranty plan for peace of mind.

My wife is hard on tablets and remote controls. She broke the circuit board by pressing the mute button on three DirecTV remotes. We needed the protection plan for this Amazon Fire. Went the first one broke, they had stopped producing that model. The replacement was the same size but the next generation.

I am pretty technical so I didnt utilize them for set up, but it is nice to have the peace of mind should something happen. For around 100 bucks, I think its silly not to get it being that the computer approaches $1000. Will update review if and when I need to use the service.

I haven't personally had to use this service yet but I have been told that this service is amazing and fixes an issue relatively fast

It was great. My son is 3yrs and he cracked his tablet, we Couldnt turn it on. Since we had the protection plan we got a new tablet. No hassles at all. Easy and we did everything in the store same day.

You have to have Geek Squad protection! I have covered all devices I have purchased from here with it. The have always been great at fixing and returning quickly.

The Geek Squad at the Lake Jackson store have been very patient & helpful correcting problems with our laptops & tablet. The problems ranged from virus corrupted operating systems, to operator errors. They were friendly, professional, & made timely repairs.
