I used to think service contracts were a waste of money. Than within the last 2 years, my dishwasher died, my oven needed repair, AND our top of the line LG French Door compressor died after less than a year. The Geek Squad handled it ALL, new LG comes WEDNESDAY. I understand stuff happens.....the GEEK SQUAD helps you get through the STUFF. They are one of the MAIN reasons I use Best Buy for EVERYTHING!

I purchased the 3-year warranty with some hesitation because everything I read says not to buy. However, after looking at the cost per year, it wasn't such a huge price to pay for piece of mind. The retailer that I was going to purchase my refrigerator from had a much higher warranty cost and the salesman was sort of pushy and initially wasn't going to deliver my refrigerator free of charge unless I purchased the extended warranty. I did purchase the refrigerator and they consented to deliver free, however after a day of reconsideration, I cancelled my order with that retailer and went with Best Buy, who actually matched the lower price of refrigerator the other retailer was offering, but didn't pressure me to buy the extended plan. I did take my 15 days allowed time to decide.

Must get it. My fridge broke down a month before my 5 years warranty expiration date, and best buy just gave me a brand new one (i picked it) since they couldn't fix it

Would recommend on an item like this as they can be expensive to repair.

The delivery people were very professional and careful with our new frig. They carefully loaded and carried it to the terrace level of the house. Installed the frig and gave us a quick run down of how to flush the water dispenser and ice maker before using it.

Great service I know my thing are well protected and can be fixed or replaced with ease

Love the 2 drawers and the inside water and water jug and the ice maker in the freezer it also has a easy access to the filter

The best feature is that the interior water dispenser and bottom drawer ice maker allow for a very large space available in the fridge. Purchased this to minimize the failure of the ice maker, which we had issues with in the past. So far it has worked as expected.

I usually use AMEX for the double warranty, but since I was buying a suite of appliances, it made sense for me to get the BB credit card to save 10%. Thus I bought extra insurance through Geek Squad. My fridge was super noisy and I couldn't bear it. The GS told me that my model had to be kept upright during delivery, otherwise parts inside could get dislodged and cause rattling. Curtis is my personal associate who takes care of all my purchases. He got me a replacement model right away. The replacement model had a dent on one door, so the Geek Squad efficiently removed the good door from my original fridge and put it on my new fridge, and sent the dented door back with the noisy fridge. That's what I call efficient!

I called the Geek Squad the day after installation of my Maytag Refrigerator. I noticed white specs I thought were pieces of shipping styrofoam. They were nicks (scratches). The Representative informed me of my options, and resolved the matter.

They are very good and understanding with our needs and clear with their answers.!

Good deal with a combo purchase. Haven’t needed to use it yet.

The agents installed fridge without any hassle. Arnaldo and Javier from A&S Nieves Transport did a great job in delivering and hoping the fridge to the waterline. They also gave instructions on disposing gallons of water and cubes and wiping the product before starting to use. Great crew and work well done.

Always great to have the Geek Squad on your side. Never used it but had the comfort knowing it was rhere if needed.

The printer is awesome, I had trouble with the ink dispensing and when I try printing pages, they were blank. After calling Epson and talking to a technician, the ink finally dispensed.

Always good to have reputable warranty and a company that is near when you need it the price is reasonable and the peace of mind knowing they back up the product is priceless

When I brought my refrigerator I also brought the protection plan. I was super excited when I seen Geek Squad. I have used the Geek Squad in the past and had lovely experiences. I highly recommend getting protection plan especially if it’s with the Geek Squad.

So, I had to get this coverage... Just in case. I had a freezer that I bought from Best Buy, went out within 5 months, lost really expensive meat along with other frozen perishables. Had I had this coverage, it would have been reimbursed. Same freezer was on sale, used the difference for the plan. We'll see!
