Purchased for peace of mind! Thought price was very reasonable!

I have recently purchased a new refrigerator with the Geek Squad service plan. I have always found the Geek Squad folks to be easy to work with and they are exceptionally helpful. I hope to not need them for my new purchase, but I know if I have a challenge, they will provide great assistance.

Mr Ed and his partner were on time, very polite and explained thoroughly what was wrong with my newly purchased appliance from Best Buy. I will be receiving a replacement in just a few days. I was very impressed by how thorough and knowledgeable they were in first trying to correct the problem.

Samsung makes a great product but anything can happen like line surge, early part failure etc... So we always buy the protection plan,

Glad i have not had to use the warranty service but happy to have the piece of mind if something were to happen.

I purchased the 3-year warranty with some hesitation because everything I read says not to buy. However, after looking at the cost per year, it wasn't such a huge price to pay for piece of mind. The retailer that I was going to purchase my refrigerator from had a much higher warranty cost and the salesman was sort of pushy and initially wasn't going to deliver my refrigerator free of charge unless I purchased the extended warranty. I did purchase the refrigerator and they consented to deliver free, however after a day of reconsideration, I cancelled my order with that retailer and went with Best Buy, who actually matched the lower price of refrigerator the other retailer was offering, but didn't pressure me to buy the extended plan. I did take my 15 days allowed time to decide.

I ordered this just a few weeks ago and I’m so happy I did. I love the soft close and I have kids that like to leave the fridge open and the beeping sound alerts them to close the door. That’s one less thing for me to fuss about lol. It’s so brings and the water and ice machine is perfect. I recommend this.

Great product! The service delivery was great on time, setup within 20 minutes and provided instructions about the refrigerator. Scheduling was easy!

On all major appliances or products, I always purchase the Geek Squad Protection. I have contacted the Geek Squad twice due to installation issues on two separate appliances and found them to be responsive, professional and handled each installation issue perfectly - above expectation. Luckily, my appliances have not had any issues, however, I have total confidence in the Geek Squad if the need arises.

I usually use AMEX for the double warranty, but since I was buying a suite of appliances, it made sense for me to get the BB credit card to save 10%. Thus I bought extra insurance through Geek Squad. My fridge was super noisy and I couldn't bear it. The GS told me that my model had to be kept upright during delivery, otherwise parts inside could get dislodged and cause rattling. Curtis is my personal associate who takes care of all my purchases. He got me a replacement model right away. The replacement model had a dent on one door, so the Geek Squad efficiently removed the good door from my original fridge and put it on my new fridge, and sent the dented door back with the noisy fridge. That's what I call efficient!

within 1 year of purchase, my GE freezer is constantly running extremely loud. Today the squad came out for a 3rd time, but still they don't have the correct parts ordered from "GE", and now scheduled for a 4th appointment. UNREAL!!!! Oh yes, and the window is always 7am-7pm -

This refrigerator is really nice. Works great, plenty of space and nice sleek design.

Crew did a good job of removing the old refrigerator and installing a new one in its place.

Great economical way of eliminating any concern of repair expenses.

Have not needed to use the warranty but hope if i need it, it will help me at that time.

This has served us well. The kids love the Family Hub functionality. They have gathered around this to design Mother's and Father's Day cards for us. It is a refrigerator for us as parents and it is a fun center for the kids.

Everyone needs a favorite store. Best Buy is ours. We have bought multiple appliances and electronics from Best Buy and have experienced a high level of expertise in dealing with the few issues we have faced. When it is broken, they know how to fix it and they do it fast.

one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. installer tried to remove water line from refrigerator before shutting the water off, then told me I needed a plumber to install because a pipe was leaking. I created an account just to make this review. I would advise anyone I know not to order from Best Buy. Picture of 'leaking pipe" attached

I’m glad I got this protection for my refrigerator. I’ve always had problems with them.

I would definitely recommend the geek squad protection! We purchased it w/ our Samsung refrigerator. We had numerous problems with it and had a repair man come out each time to repair it for free. The refrigerator was finally not repairable after buying it 3 years ago. I was able to get a brand new fridge using the geek squad coverage! I also bought the geek squad coverage w/ the new fridge I got and will get it for whatever large item I purchase there.
