Haven't had to use the geek squad for my new fridge but happy to know I have a five yr protection plan.

I purchased this agreement, and hope not to have to use it. Seems to be a good deal, still hope that I do not need to use it, hope that the refrigerator last a lot longer than the warranty and is pro long warranty thank you.

I just recently purchased an entire kitchen suite. When I first purchased my appliances I did not purchase the protection plan. I just recently went back to the store and purchased the plan for the fridge only. I feel like I can sleep better knowing that my purchase is protected. Happy that I made this choice.

I've leveraged Geek Squad 3 yr protection on multiple appliances. Unfortunately, it just seems that the Manufacturing of units isn't what it use to be and as such the need for peace of mind for a big purchase to not have issues is worth the cost.

Best Buy in my opinion has excellent services. The employees are well trained.

I was looking at other places to buy appliances, and Best Buy seemed to have the best value for their warranties. I like that you don't have to pay for a service fee, it too is covered.

It is a good thing to have. The protect plan replace an major appliance I had only two years. I just purchased another 5 year protection plan on the replacement major appliance. Highly recommend a person to purchase one.

Love geek squad. That’s the main reason I buy from Best Buy. Easy. You don’t have to register it since they do it at purchase.

It's been a year with the fridge and we love the space, specially the 2 drawer for quick items. The quick door (for milk and juices) is fantastic. I really recommend this products specially when you have kids that like to open the fridge constantly.

Purchased geek squad protection for a TV I bought. Unfortunately the TV had to be repaired more than once. When I contacted geek squad for repair it was always 2 weeks before they could send anyone out to look at it or repair it. Ultimately the TV had to be replaced and I went 3 weeks without a TV after the geek squad never showed up to assess the problem. They then told me to shop online for another TV as they would issue a credit for my old one with free shipping. I waited for a week for the credit to come through but did not receive it so I had to call them again. It took 3 more days before I received it. So now I’ve been without a TV for a month. Found the TV I wanted and called geek squad about removing the delivery charge since they told me it would be free shipping. After 2 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved they told me they couldn’t help me and I would need to call the store. I called the store and explained the situation about the delivery charge and they transferred me back to geek squad. I spent another 2 hours on the phone again with a person named Vee who was rude and very non customer oriented. Even though she had the order in front of her all she could keep saying was she would not provide free delivery and I would need to go to store to pick up. After she repeated this over and over I asked for her manager or corporate number so I could talk to someone else. She just kept saying you need to go to store and no free delivery. Don’t waste your money on this gimmick!!!

I had to call about my software order, the link was missing in the MyBesyBuy site. I called Geek Squad, they confirmed that I bought the software, sent me the link and even helped me with install... I am so glad I bought the Geek Squad Service...

Definitely worth every penny. Got open box fridge with issue and they replaced it without any questions.

Haven’t had to use this yet, but with our track record associated with fridges it felt like a smart option. Hopefully we won’t have any issues when and if we need to use this. Best Buy usually is reliable when it comes to this service.

Ordered and paid cash on 6.17.25 was told delivery fee. Because the store is like 20 miles from my home. Said will be delivered on 7.5.25 (ok, so we arent celebrating the 4th camping with the rest of family). Got home. Got a msg one of my items wont be available until 7.17.25. I got a text msg yesterday to make sure room for appliances on 7.5.25 del. Between 7a-7p and day beforethey send me smaller window. Got txt today to schedule del for /7.19.25. I called, got run around from an accent i couldnt really understand. Long story. No del til 7.19.25. (If it arrives then? They have my cash... and the store doesnt take phone calls anymore. They should refund my money and pay me since i have to go back to store for my $$$$.

Required item fo any appliance. Bought if for a chest freezer and im glad i did.
