The geek squad protection is well worth your money. Appliance just arent made like they use to be made.

After only having my new appliances for less than two weeks I call geek squad for help on my stove light. Only to find out that they do not have LG support in my area so they were not able to help me and I would have to call another number through an LG supplier direct. It took over two hours of phone calls to get help

I have not needed to use my warranty yet, but Hallie was very helpful when I needed help with an installation problem. After talking to the salesperson, managers, etc. Hallie finally heard me and helped with my problem. She encouraged me to keep my warranty. Thanks, Hallie.

A lot of people negate extended warranty but it paid off for us on our last refrig. Also gives peace of mind. Their repair people are good too as long as they don’t sub contract it out

We bought the 5 Yr. Standard Geek Squad Protection for our new Samsung refrigerator hoping that we'll never need to use it. The cost for it is very reasonable.

They practically rebuilt my washer and now it runs like new. They came back a couple of times because of parts shortages but they were persistant. Very professional.

Money, money, money, money, best thing in the world

Got the warranty as the refrigerator I purchased was for my mom... If problems arise, I want her to have the easiest chance to repair or replace the unit without her needing to spend any money. $169 for 5 years is about $34/yr for that peace of mind. Verdict? Worth It.

This is really a nice protection plan if you own several computers, laptops, electronic devices and appliances. Whenever I experience issues with my devices I just call or make an appointment and my issues are solved.

Glad I got this service. My fridge needed to be replaced because it had a problem and they worked it out smoothly.

Beware of these service plans, these types of "warranties" seem harder and harder to use. I have normally purchased my large appliances from Best Buy because of the service plans, but I am considering going elsewhere in the future. Fridge has been having an issue and I called to get the fridge serviced, they tell me that the fridge has a warranty with the manufacturer for 10 years parts and 5 years labor. I spent two hours trying to get ahold of Whirlpool and finally talking to them they confirm that but the warranty does not cover the service call to see what is wrong with the fridge, so I am geek squad tells me this time they won't authorize the service call without a RMA number that I need to get from the manufacturer, so I have to waste more time now to get this information. I was a big believer of Best Buy and Geek Squad, this has changed by this whole experience.

They are always very helpful and very patience with you while you are trying to figure out what is right for you
