With the way products do not last like they used to, I always get the warranties. All of them have paid for themselves.

Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection pays for itself with one small repair problem. The KitchenAid refrigerator has an electronic panel, several lamps/sensors, and a compressor.... the cost of one repair to any of these items makes the warranty a good bet.

samsung fridge very skeptical of product if i have problems i know best but will fix it

I'm glad to have this 3 yr protection plan on this refrigerator since it sits in the garage. A previous refrig only lasted 1 yr and was out of warranty when it died

the refrigerator had a faulty icemaker, After three repairs was able to get a new refrig. Unfortunately, the icemaker was still same and has been replaced once and still does not perform properly. Without the warranty we would have been out big bucks.

Horrible!!! The water tasted bad after putting in a new water filter. Put in a work order, they came out and said it was the water line connector that's causing the bad tastes in the water. They do not services anything attached to the refrigerator. The warranty only covered what is build on the refrigerator. Replaced a new water line connector, the water still tasted bad.

The employee that helped us was very nice unlike the manager of that department Norma who is very rude. Luckily this time it was someone else I should of got her name. Also the delivery guys were nice also.

I always buy the Best Buy warranties and have a 50/50 useage of them. Overall not bad prices if you have the total tech program since it drops the total price of the warranty by a good amount.

Due to space limitations, we purchased a Samsung refrigerator that had multiple negative reviews on a variety of websites. However, it was the best option for the size. We know we will have problems with it and in these cases, a Best Buy warranty is a must.

GeekSquad protection is one of the best offered by BestBuy. I have several expensive tech products from BestBuy and I got all of them covered with this service.

Geek Squad had always paid off for us. We haven’t had to need it for this purchase yet but we never buy an electronic or appliance without buying Geek Squad along with it!

In the beginning of the year My family and i were without a fridge for 62 days as we got the run around from Samsung.Was giving the number to a service place that has been out of business for sometime etc... In the beginning of APRIL we were finally giving a refund for our fridge! In search of a new refrigerator we came across one that was in our budget at best buy. but it was a Samsung... Jp the sales man had insured us that if we purchased the geek squad protection we would have no worries! Wouldn't have to deal with Samsung and even geek squad gwould help with food that was ruined What a good deal right? Nope! here we are going on day 5 with no refrigerator and rotten food. Called geek squad was told that they dont service my area! Why did i even pay 150?? and also was told by geek squad Samsung will be sending me a replacement. haha. Called Samsung they said that whoever i spoke to at geek squad had lied to me.. and that they would schedule a service tech.. no service tech...and now waiting on a store credit. supposedly... I have already dealt with Samsung so already knew what to expect. Stock up on ice and ice chest!! I am 25 mins from lake Jackson, purchased the geek squad protection so wouldnt have to deal with samsung , have only had it for a little over 2 months and am living out of an ice chest with 3 kids! why cant something be done!? Why do I just getting told im sorry and passed on to the next person. Its going to be a long weekend ...

Great plan, great price! The refrigerator and 5year geek squad plan cost far less than we had expected to pay for a refrigerator alone.
