Decent streaming service with serviceable features. With most services it really just depends on what content your are interested in, and for me Showtime doesn't offer anything I care to watch. So for this reason, I didn't find it appealing. But this will vary per person. I would assume most will subscribe to one or two of their favorites, and this just isn't one for me.

Showtime still has some great limited series , like Yellowjackets . Still a A good value cable or streaming movie and series site.

Showtime is a great channel for those interested in the genre. I appreciate the freebie but after the trial ran out I cancelled. Just not my thing.

The Fire stick and Android apps for Showtime are just shells of a viewer. It has very limited functionality and you can't really move around in a video or change any viewing options. It does stream but even on good speed networks causes glitches and stuttering of videos every few minutes. Finding regular shows I might watch are difficult as they are buried under flashy trending titles. Searching directly for a series is not that difficult but finding the exact episode you want is not easy due to very limited info. Then it's not uncommon for episodes to be labeled wrong and you get a different one Also the info on which ones I've already watched versus those I haven't isn't there. Episodes I've watched often don't show any timeline or indication I've watched them. Then come back later and there are red lines under them but not at all where I quit watching in the timeline. And if you do have to start over, and you try to go forward to where you left off, you'll have to watch numerous commercials before getting to the spot you want. I only watch Showtime for the new Dexter videos. When those are done, I'm done with Showtime. There's only a little of interest to me on this network and I spend a lot more time on other services. And since the viewer is such a pain to navigate or find things, I'm just not that interested in spending much time with the app.
