I was replacing an old dynex tv.. she was very happy with the difference in picture quality.. and features.. I have owned 3 insignia yes myself .. I have never been disappointed!!

Good for a small bedroom

Sound is fairly loud but very metallic. I would recommend this as an excellent spare TV for a bedroom or small den but not for a larger viewing area.

It is everything I'd expect in a 720 p LED. I gave it to my kids as a Christmas present to go with their xbox. The picture quality is good, and 60 Hz refresh rate is fine for the games they play. They are 8 & 6, so we're not talking super high graphics/etc. But it works great for them, and so far, no issues.
