I'm one of those guys that buy things and usually don't post a review but when the item is really good or is worth it, I do it giving my honest opinion and share it with everyone. I was looking for a good size tv for my dad. He is not too tech but I also don't wanna give him something he doesn't like. So I saw a video review online about this TV and I liked it but I still got some doubts, so I decided to go to Best Buy and check it out. Best buy didn't have one on display but it was the only one left in the retail box and taking advantage of the 4th of July sales I bought it having some doubts still. When I got home I took the tv to my dad's room, got the TV out of the box and the 1st surprised was TV wasn't even heavy and grab and hdmi Cable, I connected it to the cable box and BOOOOOM.... TV looked amazing with crispy image, nice volume and easy setups. We couldn't be more pleased with it, so I decided to get one for me but unfortunately they didn't have bigger size then 50"...so I got something else. I really recommend this TV, it's fantastic and for low price,it is awesome!!!

I purchased this TV for my boyfriend's birthday. I was skeptical when purchasing this specific TV because it was 720p and not 1080p. For what it's worth, I think the image quality is still very clear and high definition. Especially when using an HDMI cable. He only uses an HDMI to his laptop to watch Netflix so I'm not sure how it would look with standard cable. I was also surprised at how well the sound quality was for such a cheap TV. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money for a soundbar. The sound is perfect for simple TV viewing. Overall we haven't had any problems and he loves it! This TV would be perfect for a bedroom.

So I got this as a gift for my brother, and he loves it. Great picture quality, easy to set-up and use, and a small footprint. I recommend this TV!

This is in a family room and has a great picture. The sound is good, but not great. The remote is good from a distance. The TV is light and easy to set up. I would buy it again.

Clear picture, easy to use straight out of the box. Excellent value! Only complaint is that I cannot get a full-screen picture on all channels, but this is a minor issue.

Not much in the bells and whistles department, but this 39-inch Insignia TV delivers a perfectly acceptable picture and good color. We bought this for my mom in her assisted living suite; a small space that won't accommodate a larger unit. She also does not have cable, but receives the local channels via the digital receiver built in to the TV. It works very well, with no external antenna required. At a bargain price, this provides all the TV she needs.

easier to recommend.LasVegas 5 stars not because it is the best tv in the world but because it is the best TV for the price. How can you beat $229 on sale? I hooked this up a few hours ago. The operating system is fantastic. Way better than the very expensive Sharp SmartTV that I have. Super easy to use. The simplistic remote is actually all you need if watching Over-The-Air channels or Roku streaming channels. Picture is very nice for the $. Case/bezel is thin and looks good on the wall. Lightweight. Really an unbelievable value at this price.

I bought this TV for a very reasonable price. I think the size is perfect for my bedroom. The sound is great as well. Nice picture and color.

I have been very pleased with my tv. It is the perfect size for master bedroom. 38 inch and great quality and easy to use.

This product was well worth the price. I was skeptical at first in purchasing this item because of it brand however since I was on a tight budget and I needed a new TV I said why not. I can say after six months I’ve experienced no problems so far with this item. Great picture and very easy to navigate through the different channels. For anyone who doesn’t want to spend a lot on a TV and something simple. I recommend this item

Was looking for a TV for my mother. It had to be simple to use with a remote that was easy to read. This tv fit the bill! Great color, clear picture and not real heavy to lift. My mom is thrilled and saw colors and definition to the picture she hasn't seen in a long time from her old set. This was our second purchase of this brand and since this one we have bought a 24 inch smart tv for my kitchen.

I paid $159 for the open box version of this TV and I must say that it was a good price for a 39 inch TV. Although it's 720p, I don't have too many problems with it considering how most of the TV shows that I watch are in 720p. I had no clue that it was a smart TV when I bought it and was delighted to find out that it has built-in Roku. The picture quality and everything is better than I expected. The colors seem rich and vibrant.

Overall it is a good TV. I will list the pros and cons for me and hope this will help you Pros --Cheap -- Good video quality --Good size for small dorm room or small room --Good aspect ratio --Good for playing games via PC on HDMI --Got 2 HDMI, and audio slots Cons -- I didn;t like the audio quality overall. No good bass or clarity. I hooked up eternal speakers and they work like a charm.

I have used Insignia for several years and have always been happy with their performance and reliability. I use them in commercial settings for situations that don't require hi-def or super performance. I have never been disappointed in the picture quality and they outlast brand names in longevity. Can't speak to use in high end home theatre situation but would try one there someday too.

Good picture and easy setup. Very inexpensive and great for small rooms
