Needed a mid-size TV for above the fireplace in the basement. This was a great selection. Good picture quality and okay sound. Easy to set up if you have any technical ability.

Good as a Roku device, bad as a TV

Everything looked promising and every app I tried worked well (GooglePlay, YouTube, etc.). Then I tried watching the TV for longer than 20 minutes... and I just couldn't do it. The picture is awful and doesn't even begin to compare to the 12 year old Sharp that it replaced. I tried adjusting the color, saturation, etc. to no avail. I returned it the next day and bought the Samsung - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV (Model: UN40J6200AFXZA). While the Samsung is certainly not the best TV I have ever purchased, the picture on it is definitely better than the one on the Insignia Roku TV.

Great TV for the price, but Roku needs removing

Setup was very easy. The concept of Roku built into the TV is a good idea, but using Roku to even control the basic TV functions is sub-par. Also, only having the Roku remote is a downfall as well.
