Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the picture quality, ease of use, and smart TV features of this 39" Class LED HDTV Roku TV. Many also appreciate the price and size of the television. While some customers expressed concerns about the remote control and occasional internet connectivity issues, the positive feedback on picture quality and ease of use outweighs these minor drawbacks.

I liked the product. Piece was broken and was probably worth $2. Could not send me a replacement part. I could only send the whole unit back. Makes no sense at all

I only use the television only for Comcast cable tv (Antenna according to the tv) - no internet stuff. Problem is it takes forever for the tvt to turn on & sometimes it just turns off on it's own. Go figure. I don't recommend. buying it.

I returned this TV. I thought that the requirements to get my picture was confusing. I even called Best Buy. Finally, got it done, but I could not get over the tiny remote. Had no numbers.

I unfortunately purchased this tv as an open box item. The first time opening it, I was missing the changer and the screws to put the legs on. I should have taken that as a sign. I didn't. The tv worked nicely the first time using it, however the second time, the screen flickered a few times but then was ok, the 4th and 5th time it flicker even more but then was ok but by the 6th time using it, the screen flickered so bad it made you sick. Needless to say, I returned it the next day and will never buy another Insignia again.

I purchased this TV for my wife's sewing and workout room. She uses it primarily to stream, The built-in Roku is great because she's already familiar with the interface. I connected an amplified OTA antenna and it found all our local channels. The remote is really a Roku remote with no number pad. While in Antenna mode you can pop-up a channel list or just go up and down channels with the arrow keys. It's not the same as random access, but is perfectly acceptable for occasional use. The TV is very lightweight and works perfectly with the single arm Rocketfish wall mount I purchased with the set. The picture quality is acceptable, but not great. That's why I dropped one star in the rating. I wasn't expecting to be wowed by a 720P resolution anyway. We also use it to stream Spotify and Pandora while working out. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

I have no idea what the naysayers are talking about. I guess the occasional lemon goes out, but my experience has been great. I'm just sorry I don't have room for a larger version. Plenty of adjustments to get just the right pic for you. I like it 'rich' .. colors are vibrant and deep and the picture is sharp.. sound if fine, volume more than adequate. More than enough connections for add-ons.. i would have liked rca sound outputs though. roku, hulu, prime all a-ok.. 'stuff' happens, so i sprung for the very reasonable priced service plan (less than 42inch is carry-in, no home service) Be forewarned, tv is un-use-able without the VERY specific remote control, so i bought a spare on ebay for $9 just in case.

I received this TV as a gift for Christmas 1 year ago, it was purchased for $200 and I gotta say for a budget TV this one is alright. It has Bluetooth so you can connect wireless speakers, supposedly it works with Google Home but I haven't gotten it to work yet, although I still need to mess with it some. Other then that it does what it's supposed to do in 1080p, so if your looking for a TV and are on an extremely tight budget this is a great TV for $100 has all the features you NEED and it works. So if you need a 39" 60hz 1080p TV or PC monitor then this is a good buy.

I purchased this 39" Insignia smart TV as a Black Friday special to use as a "playroom" TV for the grandchildren. It is every bit as good as the Samsung TVs I have and then some. The included ROKU smart programming gets an amazing amount of stations and content. It works perfectly with my wireless router, with no hesitation at all. I can honestly see no difference between this Best Buy house brand and the more expensive name brands. I believe Best Buy has hit a home run with this one. Needless to say, I highly recommend the Insignia line of smart TVs.
